Abstract :
The aim of the current research is to provide a model of the effectiveness of talent management in succession planning with an approach to the fourth generation of universities in the central organization of Islamic Azad University. The current research is of the fundamental-applied research type in terms of its purpose and of the survey type in terms of the method of collecting information. The statistical population of this research included all the experts of the central organization, including management professors, who were selected purposefully, in the quantitative part, 280 people were selected using the method of the number of questions in structural equations, and in the qualitative part, 20 university experts were selected in a purposeful way. . In order to collect data, thematic analysis method was first used by interview, after confirming the questions by confirmatory factor analysis, the questionnaire was used to conduct the quantitative part of the research. In order to analyze the data in the qualitative part, the method of interview and manual coding was used, and in the quantitative part, Smart PLS3.3 and SPSS22 software, including confirmatory factor analysis tests, were used. The results of the research show that there are 32 factors in the qualitative part. Individual competencies, professional competencies, specialized skills and talent management were identified in 4 dimensions. And after analyzing the confirmatory factor and confirming the validity and reliability of the research questions in the quantitative part, the pattern and research questions were confirmed
