Obstacles and limitations to the development of girls' schools in Iran during the constitutional era

Abstract :

The traditional and tyrannical society of Iran had not felt until the constitutional revolution that the establishment and development of educational institutions could contribute to the establishment of civil society. After the Constitutional Revolution, the confrontation with the establishment and development of educational institutions, and at the top of it, continued the girls' schools. Now, the question of the present article is why and how traditional structures and institutions were able to prevent the development of girls' schools after the Constitutional Revolution? The present research hypothesis is that traditional structures and institutions, because of their concern about the limitation of their material, spiritual and historical powers, and the fear of the collapse of the existing social order, which had a roots in the history of Iranians, combined the prejudices in customary culture with the color of religion to This stubborn excuse can prevent the development of girls 'schools in Iran, although the ignorance of the women's community, the lack of funding for girls' schools, and the disruption of the Ministry of Education and Science's administrative and scientific system also contributed to this failure. In this research, the method of historical research (inductive) has been used, which seeks to explain the historical reasoning of the subject, observing the trusted and preserving of scientific principles, and also with an objective look at the events and events of the historical documentary that are presented in the documents and historical sources.
