Presenting the model of influencing factors on the leader's cultural intelligence with the Grounded Theory

Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to provide a model of the factors influencing the leader's cultural intelligence with the grounded theory. Which was carried out qualitatively in the first stage and quantitatively in the second stage, the research community was made up of professional and academic experts in management fields and the sampling method was purposeful, and finally 20 people from the statistical population were interviewed. Then, using the results of semi-structured interviews with experts, codes were identified and categorized into different categories. Based on the results of the interview with the experts and according to the indicators and components, a model was presented. The data set obtained after the continuous process of open, central and selective coding in the form of 99 open codes, 66 concepts, 10 categories and 6 classes (intervening conditions, causal conditions, central conditions, consequences, strategies and contextual conditions) were organized. The results showed that individual and demographic components are among the causal and contextual factors affecting cultural intelligence; The personality factors of the organizational components are among the underlying factors for it; "Cultural Intelligence Strategies" and "Cultural Intelligence" are also considered intervening conditions, also the main category is improving the performance of the organization; Emphasis on culture building and continuous training are defined strategies.
