The Mediating Role of Mobbing on the Relationship betwee Organizational Silence and Turnover Intention

Abstract :
The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between organizational silence and turnover intention with the mediating role of organizational Mobbing in Ghaem Mashhad Hospital. The purpose of this research is applied and its method and descriptive-survey nature is correlational. The statistical population of the research is all the employees of Ghaem Hospital in Mashhad, according to Cochran's formula, 294 people were selected by simple random sampling. The data was collected by questionnaires, in such a way that to measure organizational silence, Van Dyne et al.'s (2003) questionnaire was used, Mobley et al.'s (1979) questionnaire was used to measure turnover intention, and Pranjik et al.'s (2006) questionnaire was used for organizational Mobbing. The reliability of the mentioned questionnaire was obtained using Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the variables of organizational Mobbing (0.8), organizational silence (0.74) and intention to transfer (0.87) and the validity of the content and form of the questionnaire was also confirmed. Imus 24 software was used for data analysis. The findings of the research showed that there is a significant relationship between organizational silence and turnover intention, and the mediating role of organizational Mobbing was confirmed.
