Identifying the factors of organizational health based on the green culture of educational organizations and providing a model with thematic analysis approach

Abstract :

In an era when pervasive and continuous changes, especially in the field of technology and communication, have affected all areas of life and shaped the work environment, the concept of organizational health as one of the most important factors affecting the performance and sustainability of organizations, It has been noticed significantly. In this regard, educational organizations, as one of the key institutions of the society, play a very important role in maintaining and promoting the health of the society.Therefore, the aim of the research is to design an organizational health model based on the green culture of educational organizations. In this research, 15 experts were interviewed. The snowball method was used to collect information, and then, using thematic analysis method, the information extracted from the texts and interviews were categorized and analyzed. Reliability was checked and verified using the method of two coders and open reliability of the test. The results showed that the organizational health based on the green culture of educational organizations should have characteristics such as strategic factors, managerial factors, technological dynamics, social and financial factors, and learning empowerment. Finally, these results were classified into 21 basic themes, 5 organized themes and one overarching theme. It can be concluded that organizational health helps to improve the working conditions and social life of employees, but by creating a green culture, it also helps to preserve the environment, develop sustainability, and improve the level of knowledge and awareness of society about environmental issues
