Predicting Teachers' Job Performance Based on Walton's Quality of Work Life Model

Abstract :
This study aimed to assess the relationship between job performance with the components of quality of work life (suggested model by Walton) among primary school teachers in Zahedan. The research method was descriptive and of correlation type 338 primary school teachers in Zahedan were selected through Simple Random Sampling model. For the collecting data, the Walton's quality of work life and Paterson's job performance questionnaires were used. The data was analyzed using Pearson correlation and Regression analysis through Spss21 software. The findings showed that there was a significant relationship between the quality of work life (p<0/01) and its components with job performance. Multiple regression findings also showed that all components of quality of work life except for proper opportunity (p<0/05) promotion, and costal security, can predict teachers’ job performance. According to the findings, Managers can plan and implement appropriate strategies to promote teachers' quality of work life and provide the required conditions for promotions the quality and efficient of the services
