The Relationship between Leadership Style of Managers and Teaching Quality of the First Grade Teachers in High Schools of Dorud City

Abstract :
The present research aims on studying the relationship between leadership styles of managers and teaching quality of the first grade teachers of high schools in Dorud city. The methodology of this research is applied based on purpose and descriptive-surveying of correlational form. Statistical population of this research includes 165 teachers and 41 managers of the first grade of high schools in Dorud city. No sample was taken for the limitation of both groups, and all population members were selected as a sample. Data collection tool was Salzman leadership style and Ender Koolak questionnaire and teaching quality standard questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire by Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was obtained 0.89 and 0.86, respectively. Spearman correlation coefficient was used to analyze research data. Results of research showed the significant relationship between leadership styles of managers and teaching quality of the first grade teachers of high schools in Dorud city (P=0.0001).
