Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting corruption in the contracts of players and coaches of the Iranian Football Premier League. The present study was a qualitative research and exploratory research that used the method of field research and in terms of purpose is one of the basic researches. The statistical population of the study included experts and knowledgeable people in the field of football industry, experts and professors in the field of sports management and managers of the league and football federation and referee’s committee. Purposeful sampling was performed. The research tool was in-depth and semi-structured interviews which at the end of 16th interview saturation was acquired. The findings of the research showed that there are 92 primary propositions with a total frequency of 177 including 4 main categories including management strategies (including efficient human resources, infrastructure solutions, planning, organization and attitude), the main category of cultural strategies (including the concepts of culture building, media, education). , the main category of legal strategies (including the concepts of trial and clearing, human and legal resources, supervisory strategies, drafting standard contracts, transparent laws and regulations) the main category of technical and specialized strategies (including the concepts of expertise and knowledge, technical and executive solutions) discovery and extraction became. In the section on the consequences of corruption in football contracts, negative technical and specialized consequences with an importance factor of 20 and ethical consequences with an importance factor of 10 are the most frequent, and in contrast, security.
