Abstract :

The aim of this study is to analyze the role of strategic thinking in selecting and prioritizing supplier selection criteria in supply chain management with a focus on the LARG paradigm. The research method was descriptive-correlational, the statistical population of the study includes all senior and middle managers of the cosmetics industry, 210 people. The non-targeted random sampling method was integer, in this regard, research questionnaires were distributed among the entire statistical community and 174 healthy questionnaires were returned and analyzed. The data collection tool was the standard strategic thinking questionnaire from Liedtka (1998) and supply chain management with a focus on the LARG paradigm of Mohammadnejad and Safaei (2016). Research data were analyzed based on research hypotheses and analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient, Friedman test and structural modeling. Findings showed that the effect of strategic thinking on supply chain management with a focus on the LARG paradigm is positive and significant. It was also found that the lean paradigm is a priority in supply chain management paradigms, as a result, strategic thinking is one of the factors that can be effective in supply chain management by focusing on the LARG paradigm.
