Abstract :
This study was conducted with the aim of investigating the indicators of intellectual capital in Ardabil University of Medical Sciences and explaining the status of intellectual capital indicators during the years 1992 to 1996. The research approach was quantitative. The statistical population of the study consisted of 500 people, including the presidents, vice presidents and employees of Ardabil University of Medical Sciences, and 220 individuals were selected via simple random sampling following the Karjesi and Morgan’s Table. In order to identify the indicators of the intellectual capital of the university, by using the expert opinions of the supervisors and advisors and in consultation with the experts working in different units of the university, a number of the most appropriate indicators of the intellectual capital based on reliable scientific sources were extracted according to the structure of the University of Medical Sciences Ardabil. In this regard, the questionnaire made by Mehralizadeh et al. (2013) was taken as a model. The findings showed the status of the human capital index (78.6% positive growth; 7.2% no growth; 14.2% negative growth); structural capital index (45.45% positive growth; 40.91% no growth; 13.64% negative growth) and relational capital index (10.0% positive growth; 80.0% no growth; 10.0% negative growth) during the time period. Thus, the human capital of the university has a better condition than the structural and relational capital.
