The method of this research was a description of the type of correlation and the statistical population of this research included all the teachers of second secondary schools in the districts of Kermanshah city. The representative sample consisted of 400 teachers and the desired teachers were selected using cluster sampling. Three questionnaires were used to collect the required data for the research variables: Shannon-Moran teachers' professionalism questionnaire (2006), Schwabsky's personal citizenship behavior questionnaire (2014) and Hoy's school effectiveness questionnaire (2009). Content validity method was used to determine the validity of the questionnaires. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to check the reliability of three questionnaires. The reliability coefficient calculated for the questionnaires of professionalism, individual citizenship behavior and school effectiveness were estimated at 0.85, 0.83 and 0.87 respectively. The results of data analysis show that there is a direct and significant relationship between teachers' professionalism and schools' effectiveness (r=0.383). Also, the correlation between the variable of individual citizenship behavior of teachers and the effectiveness of schools is direct and significant (r=0.434). In the end, it was determined that 23.9 percent of the variance of schools' effectiveness can be explained through the variables of professionalism and individual citizenship behavior of teachers.
