Abstract :
With increasing access to interactive media and the Internet, new social damage has emerged in the community, and there are many opportunities for this to be seen if different angles of how networks interact with people and audiences. It is possible to prevent possible damage and to take the opportunity to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the cyberspace with the correct planning. The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of cyberspace on political participation of citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Case Study of Tehran). The statistical population of this research is Tehran citizens. According to the census of the year (1395), the population of Tehran is 8, 693, 706 people (results of the census of 1395 at the Center of Statistics of Iran). To find the sample size, this study was performed using Cochran's formula.
