Abstract :
Professional ethics is one of the new branches of ethics, which is closely related to values and beliefs. Each job and profession creates specific ethical responsibilities, and professional ethics plays an important role in terms of ways to improve communication in this field. This article was written with the aim of investigating the professional ethics of Lashkarians in Ruzat-ul-Aqool and using the descriptive-analytical method. Ruzat-ul-Aqool is one of the Persian prose books and another Marzban-nameh written by Mohammad Bin Ghazi Multawi in the 6th century. One of the subjects that is clearly explained in this book is the position and importance of the army and military forces in the government and between different classes of society, from which the professional ethics of this section of the society of that time can be extracted. The main questions of this research are: What is the position of army and troops in Rouzat-ul-Akool and which of the components of the professional ethics of troops are mentioned in Rozat-ul-Akool? The findings of this research indicate that peace-seeking and not taking the lead in war, having commitment and expertise, patience and perseverance and tolerance of hardships, respect for hierarchy and obedience to superiors, awareness and preparation against the enemy, helpfulness, loyalty, Courage, avoiding bloodshed, and avoiding looting are among the principles that have been considered in the professional ethics of the army.
