The survey of Computer Literacy among the Employees of Health Information Management at Birjand Hospitals: 2018

Abstract :
The present research was conducted with the aim of evaluating the computer literacy status of employees of the health information management department of Birjand hospitals with sub-groups of file management, access, explanation and evaluation, communication, composition and creation. The research method has been descriptive in terms of its purpose and in terms of collecting data. The statistical population of the study consisted of all employees of the health information management department of Birjand hospitals, which consisted of 103 people. In this research, sampling was not performed and the whole society was surveyed by census. The data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was confirmed by a group of experts confirming and reliability of the questionnaire with a Cronbach's alpha of 0/86. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequency, mean and standard deviation), and t-test and ANOVA tests using SPSS V. 16 software. Based on the findings of the research, the total computer literacy of employees of the health information management department of Birjand hospitals is modest. Among the different skills, the most skill of the staff was in managing files and the least skill in Access and Excel. Also, the results of the study showed that the average computer literacy score of men is higher than that of women.
