چکیده مقدمه: انتخاب همسر یکی از مهم‌ترین تصمیماتی است که افراد در طول زندگی خود می‌گیرند. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی نقش عوامل جمعیت‌شناختی (جنسیت، سن، ترتیب تولد و سطح تحصیلات) در ملاک‌های انتخاب همسر دانشجویان شهر شیراز صورت پذیرفت. روش پژوهش: طرح پژوهش توصیفی و از نوع همبستگی و جامعه آماری این پژوهش کلیه دانشجویان دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی واحد شیراز می‌باشد که در سال 1401 در این واحد تحصیل می‌کردند. نمونه‌ای 377 نفری (235 زن و 142 مرد)، با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای چند مرحله‌ای انتخاب شد و توسط پرسشنامه عوامل جمعیت‌شناختی و پرسشنامه ملاک‌های انتخاب همسر (MSCI)، مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. پرسشنامه‌ها بعد از جمع‌آوری با نرم افزار SPSS ویرایش 26 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل در دو سطح توصیفی و استنباطی قرار گرفتند. یافته‌ها: نتایج تجزیه و تحلیل یافته‌ها با استفاده از روش رگرسیون چندگانه به شیوه همزمان نشان داد که جنسیت و سطح تحصیلات به صورت منفی و معنادار در ملاک‌های انتخاب همسر شرکت‌کنندگان نقش دارند. همچنین نتایج تجزیه و تحلیل یافته‌ها با استفاده از روش رگرسیون چندگانه به شیوه گام به گام نشان داد که از بین عوامل جمعیت‌شناختی، جنسیت بیش‌ترین نقش را در ملاک‌های انتخاب همسر دارد. نتیجه‌گیری: خانم‌ها ملاک‌های بیش‌تری برای انتخاب همسر آینده خود داشتند. این می‌تواند با آینده‌نگری آن‌ها مرتبط باشد. از آن جایی زنان به فکر آینده خود و فرزندان خود هستند، همسری را ترجیح خواهند داد که بتواند به بهترین صورت نیازهای آتی آن‌ها را فراهم سازد و آینده‌ای روشن و زیبایی برای آن‌ها ترسیم کند.
Abstract Introduction: Mate selection is one of the most important decisions that people make in their lifetime. The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating role of gender, age, birth order and the level of education in mate selection criteria of Shiraz students. Methods: The research design is descriptive and the statistical population of this research is all students of Islamic Azad University of Shiraz branch who studied in this branch in 2022. A sample of 377 people (235 women and 142 men) was selected using the step-by-step clustering method and was evaluated by the demographic factors questionnaire and the mate selection criteria inventory (MSCI) were investigated. After collecting the questionnaires with SPSS software version 26, they were analyzed at two descriptive and inferential levels. Results: The results of the analysis of the findings using the multiple regression method in a simultaneous manner showed that gender and level of education play a negative and significant role in mate selection criteria of the participants. Also, the results of the analysis of the findings using the step-by-step multiple regression method showed that among these factors, gender plays the most important role in mate selection criteria. Conclusion: So that women had more criteria to choose their future husband. This could be related to their foresight. From that point, women are thinking about their future and their children, they will prefer a spouse who can best provide their future needs and draw a bright and beautiful future for them.
