هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی عزّت دینی بر مبنای لزوم تشکیل حکومت اسلامی در عصر غیبت است. روش پژوهش توصیفی-تحلیلی بوده و نتایج نشان داد که دین کامل و تمدن‌ساز اسلام در مجموعه دستوراتش تحت عنوان فقه، برای تأمین و گسترش عزت فردی و اجتماعی مسلمین و جوامع اسلامی معارف عمیقی دارد که تاکنون از این دیدگاه به آن نگریسته نشده است؛ ازجمله لزوم تشکیل حکومت اسلامی بر این مبنا است. حکومت دینی، با شمول موضوعی گسترده، نقش تعیین‌کننده‌ای در صیانت از حیثیات معنوی ایفا می‌کند و نیز در سطح کلان، باعث حفظ و ارتقای عزت و استقلال مسلمانان و جامعه اسلامی خواهد شد. مفهوم عزت دینی، این ظرفیت را دارد که به‌عنوان یک مبنا و دلیل فقهی جدید برای لزوم تشکیل حکومت اسلامی در عصر غیبت باشد.
The purpose of the present study is to review religious dignity based on the necessity to establish the Islamic government in the Age of Absence. The research method is descriptive-analytic and the results showed that the perfect and civilized religion of Islam has profound instructions in its disciplines entitled as Fiqh in order to provide and expand individual and social dignity of Muslims and Islamic societies. In this regard, some aspects including the necessity to establish the Islamic government have not been considered from this perspective. Religious governance with its extensive thematic inclusion has a decisive influence to preserve the spiritual dignity and also maintains and improves the honor and independence of Muslims and Islamic societies. The concept of religious dignity has a potential to be considered as a new jurisprudential basis and reason to determine the necessity to set up the Islamic government in the Age of Absence.
