In recent years, the consequences resulting from human negligence and climate change has created lot of problems for the inhabitants on the planet. In the meantime, our country (Iran) has been affected by these consequences and today we are witnessing an increase in natural disasters and atmospheric conditions such as drought, flood, storms, and heat waves and so on. Over the past four decades considering the development of remote sensing technology and accessibility to satellite imagery for the users, it is advisable to use this technology to timely identify and manage the effects of natural events. Radar remote sensing provides a new tool for mapping, geology, mineralogy and mineral exploration and determines the geotechnical hazard and crisis management. Therefore, the journal aims to help raise awareness in the scientific field and in the field of remote sensing and GIS, to help scholars to publish their articles related to the subject of journal across the country and globally.
