        The purpose of research was analyzing attitude of agricultural high school educators in Khouzestan province, Iran regarding sustainable agriculture. The method of research was correlative descriptive. All agricultural high school educators in Khouzestan province (n=55) were selected for participation in the study. A questionnaire was developed to gather information regarding attitude of educators regarding sustainable agriculture. Questionnaire reliability was estimated by calculating Cronbach’s alpha. Data collected were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). Appropriate statistical procedures for description (frequencies, per cent, means, and standard deviations) were used. Based on results there is significant correlation between attitude of agricultural educators about sustainable agriculture with knowledge of agricultural educators about sustainable agriculture, communication channel, social participation, social status, individual competency, professional competency and specialized skills. Also the result for regression analysis by stepwise method shows approximately 67.3% of the variances in the attitude of agricultural educators regarding sustainable agriculture could be explained by the knowledge of agricultural educators about sustainable agriculture, communication channel, social participation, social status, individual competency, professional competency and specialized skills.         ABSTRACT The study assessed the use of rural radio as agricultural information dissemination tool among farmers in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State. The specific objectives were to: describe the socio-economic characteristics of the respondents, identify rural and agricultural programmes normally aired on radio, find out the level of patronage of the programmes, identify the convenience of the time of presentation to the target audience, identify the necessity for rural radio among the rural farmers, identify the problems militating against the listening audience of the rural radio. A 3 – stage sampling technique was used to randomly select 150 respondents for this study, using a well structured questionnaire. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results of the finding shows that majority of the respondents listened more to their traditional programmes on daily basis. The major constraints to the respondent’s listenership of the radio programmes were language barrier and lack of feedback amongst others. It was recommended that agricultural and rural development information be coded in the form of traditional/local music or incorporated into the traditional music to arouse the interests of the target audience and move to take actions and that research messages should be translated into the simplest language possible and translated to the prevalent languages.         The degree of complexity attendant in university administration is hardly to be encountered in any other organization with peculiarities which distinguish it from military, paramilitary and ministry. The vice chancellor in university is primarily concerned with how to manage resources allocated to them which requires constant teamwork and communication; however the situation is different in most of the universities. The study assessed leadership style of past three vice chancellors of University of Agriculture, Makurdi. Simple random sampling was used in selecting 16 respondents from four colleges, two departments, one directorate and one institute; primary data were collected using structured questionnaire. Results revealed that Gyang authoritarian 63.5%, Ayatse flexible 56.25%, Uza authoritarian 43.75%, on selected leadership attributes: Gyang 31.25% low level of accessibility, Ayatse 31.25% good financial resources management, Uza 37.5% financial transparency. On rate of violation of the University laws Gyang 62.5% violated laws concerning promotion, recruitment and admission.         There is disparity in access to Information and Communication Technologies between male and female especially in developing countries. This study did a gender analysis of access and use of ICTs in Ekiti state, Nigeria. Multistage sampling procedure was used to select 178 respondents. Data collected were analysed using descriptive statistics and t-test at α0.05. Radio (198.7), mobile phones (186.4) and television (182.9) were the mostly accessed ICT tools. More (30.7%) male had appreciable access to ICTs than (25.6%) female. Also, more (25.6%) male use ICTs appreciably than (23.9%) female and the pattern of ICT preferences (radio, television, and mobile phone) were the same among them. More (35.8%) female had substantial constraints to ICTs than (22.7%) male, and significantly different (t=-3.744) in constraints to ICTs access and use. Manuscript profile

        This study identified different roles played by urban household members in livestock production in Southeast Nigeria. Data were collected from two hundred and ten (210) livestock keepers using interview schedule. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The mean age of the farmers was 49.1 and a majority (86.7%) had at least primary education. A greater proportion (78.1%) of the respondents kept improved chicken and the dominant rearing system was intensive. Majority (88.2%) of the respondents indicated that men were responsible for building and maintenance of house for livestock. Buying of feed was done mainly by women (56.7%) while feeding the animals was carried out by all gender groups. Men generally take care of animal health. Therefore any intervention meant to improve urban livestock production should consider the various roles played by each gender. Manuscript profile

        The study is an analysis of processing methods, marketing channels, and profitability determinants of selected cassava products in Kogi state, Nigeria. The study was carried out in Kogi East senatorial District of the state. A multi-stage sampling technique was employed in the selection of 120 respondents from whom information were collected and analyzed. The data used for the study were collected using structured questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and profit function analysis. The study showed that there are three processing methods and three marketing channels for each of the cassava products selected. The study also showed that the variable costs and fixed costs were both significant in profit determination. The study concluded that processing and marketing activities of cassava products are prominent are profitable in the study area. It was recommended that the capital base of the respondents be boosted so that they can use modern processing and packaging techniques. Manuscript profile

        The study investigated the effects of communal crises on selected crops production among farmers in Langtang North local Government Area of Plateau State, Nigeria. Multi-stage sampling technique was adopted; four local government areas were selected in each of the local government selected, four villages affected by communal crises were selected purposively. In two of the villages selected, 24 respondents each (people affected by communal crises) were selected and 25 respondents each were also selected randomly in the other two villages giving a total of 98 respondents. Primary data were collected through administration of structured questionnaire; data gathered were analyzed by descriptive statistics and correlation. The findings revealed that 38.8% communal crises were caused by religion, 43.9% communal crises leads to loss of lives, 87.8% used assorted types of guns during communal crises and there was significant reduction in quantity and value of money on crops produced before and after communal crises. The study recommends that government should implement white paper reports on communal crises and religious organizations should continually organize inter-religious group public enlightenment programmes to encourage peaceful co-existence among believers of different faiths.
