In the developed countries, many organizations are regarded as knowledge-based businesses in which knowledge management is necessary. Today, this science is changing into integral activity of business in organizations. One of the concerns of knowledge management is its implementation. Many companies and organizations which try to start knowledge management don’t ensure that the best approach is determined to accept it. Many studies have been conducted to identify factors effective on successful implementation of knowledge management but few studies have been conducted on prioritization of these factors. In this research, a method was presented to prioritize factors effective on successful implementation of knowledge management using analytic network process in which factors effective on successful implementation of knowledge management were identified considering main criteria of human resources, leadership and structure, knowledge creation and acquisition, knowledge maintenance, sharing and transfer of knowledge along with their sub criteria and they were expanded and ranked in an ANP network (Analytical Network Process) with Super Decision software. It was found that the main criterion of human resources among criteria of human resources, leadership and structure, knowledge creation and acquisition, knowledge maintenance, sharing and transfer of knowledge was ranked 1 with significant difference from other criteria and criterion of leadership and structure was ranked 2 in terms of importance and the experts also found that sub index of human resources creativity empowerment was more important than other sub index of human resources as the most important factor in criterion of human resources. This process can be used to help the managers and planners reduce expenses of the organization through effective and successful execution of knowledge management and optimal use of knowledge management in the organizations Manuscript profile

Nowadays, by the expansion of Information Technology in human life and dependence of business upon it, data protection, as one the most valuable and critical assets of the organization, has become the vital tool of modern industry and prerequisite for sustaining business process. In order to face the challenges and to take advantage of new opportunities brought forth by IT advances we suggest organizations shift the focus from a technology-based information security to a managerial-based approach. Also, as the organizations get familiar with the importance and priority of key managerial factors affecting information security, they will be able to increase the efficiency of organization considering limited resources and the importance of each criterion. In this study, it has been tried to identify managerial factors affecting information security in Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Also, it was intended to address more important factors in order to increase efficiency. For group decision-making, Delphi method, and for modeling linguistic valuables and uncertainty in the theories, fuzzy theory was used in order to extract major managerial indices affecting information security in the organization. Then, by using VIKOR technique as one of the multi-criterion decision-making methods, the indices obtained by Fuzzy Delphi method were prioritized. Manuscript profile

This study presents a structural evaluation methodology to link key performance indicators (KPIs) into a strategy map of the balanced scorecard (BSC) for banking institutions. Corresponding with the four BSC perspectives (finance, customer, internal business process, and learning and growth), the most important evaluation indicators of banking performance are synthesized from the relevant literature and screened by a committee of experts. The Fuzzy Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (FDEMATEL) method, a multiple criteria analysis tool, is then employed to determine the causal relationships between the KPIs, to identify the critical central and influential factors. According to the expert evaluations and Analytic Network Process, the three most essential KPIs for banking performance are, "customer satisfaction", "sales performance", and "customer retention rate". The DEMATEL results demonstrate a clear road map to assist management in prioritizing the performance indicators and focusing on the strategy related activities into the crucial indicators. According to the constructed strategy map, management could better invest limited resources in the areas that need improvement most Manuscript profile

In the last decades an increasing number of clubs, associations, and partnerships behind professional team sports have become business enterprises as well; as regards their income and number of employees, there are numerous companies managing sports clubs in the medium sized enterprise sector. By nature of being businesses that manage sports, successful performance is usually the number one strategic consideration. An efficient performance evaluation system is essential for controlling, monitoring and improving team sports. This paper explores the use of a management tool: balanced scorecard (BSC), which facilitates managers to meet multiple strategic goals, and fuzzy linguistic method for evaluating team sports performance. BSC is a strategic planning and management system that is used extensively in business and industry, government and nonprofit organizations. First, Twenty-five measures of sustainable performance were recognized through expert questionnaires and through the fuzzy Delphi method (FDM), then a model is developed for measuring the acceptable performance of team sports based on the interaction financial, customers, internal business process and learning and growth perspective. After that, BSC structure integrated with fuzzy linguistic is proposed for measuring and improving the quality. The aim of this study was to build a performance evaluation system for team sports and use a fuzzy linguistic to convert the subjective cognition of managers into an information entity and confirmation of improvement. The issue of successful project management and control is of vital importance in today’s world. Although the time and cost of any project is determined in advance, paying less attention to an appropriate control and revision will result in a small chance of reaching those goals. The earned value management method that shows deviation of projects schedules and costs is of the good method for this problem however, it does not consider risks and uncertainties. Risk is defined as uncertainty of projects from internal and external environment. Identification and analysis of these risks with an appropriate and effective method is important. As regards conditions that risk imposes on project, the project will be deviated through its life cycle and managers should try to reduce deviations using corrective actions. However risk analysis is widely used in projects today, but this risk analysis is highly futuristic. The purpose of this research is designing a comparative model of earned value management and project schedule risk analysis that uses best corrective actions to improve the condition of the project. In this paper, earned value management indicators are calculated and analyzed and project completion time and delay factors are obtained by using a real project data. Also the project completion time and delay are investigated using project risk analysis and estimating activities completion time by doing Monte Carlo simulations. Finally by comparison of these two methods, a solution is proposed to improve the project condition. Manuscript profile

IEEE 802.11e standard is proposed to support Quality of Service (QoS) in wireless local area networks (WLANs). The distributed access method of 802.11e, Enhanced Distributed Channel Access (EDCA), prioritizes traffic generated by delay-sensitive applications by increasing probability to access medium for this type of traffic. EDCA resets the Contention Window (CW) of mobile stations to a minimum value after each successful transmission. This static behavior is not adapted to dynamic conditions of wireless network as it degrades network performance when channel access requests increases.Several mechanisms focusing on network adaptation have been proposed to improve the performance of IEEE 802.11e standard. The main limitation for these approaches is slow adaptation to the network state when the channel experiences bursty traffic. In this paper, we propose a new dynamic approach for contention window adjustement for each Access Category (AC) according to the traffic and network conditions. We compare our proposal with the IEEE 802.11e EDCA standard as well as some other mechanisms in the literature.Simulation results show that our proposed approach outperforms EDCA of 802.11e as well as some other enhancement to the standard present in the literature.
