        Recently, many optimization algorithms have been proposed to find the best solution for complex engineering problems. These algorithms can search unknown and multidimensional spaces and find the optimal solution the shortest possible time. In this paper we present a new modified differential evolution algorithm. Optimization algorithms typically have two stages of exploration and exploitation. Exploration refers to global search and exploitation refers to local search. We used the same differential evolution (DE) algorithm. This algorithm uses a random selection of several other search agents to update the new search agent position. This makes the search agents continually have random moves in the search space, which refers to the exploration phase but there is no mechanism specifically considered for the exploitation phase in the DE algorithm. In this paper, we have added a new formula for the exploitation phase to this algorithm and named it the Balanced Differential Evolution (BDE) algorithm. We tested the performance of the proposed algorithm on standard test functions, CEC2005 Complex and Combined Test Functions. We also apply the proposed algorithm to solve some real problems to demonstrate its ability to solve constraint problems. The results showed that the proposed algorithm has a better performance and competitive performance than the new and novel optimization algorithms. پرونده مقاله

        هدف از مسئله توزیع بار اقتصادی یافتن یک طرح مطلوب، برای خروجی نیروگاهها به منظور تامین بار مصرفی در یک افق زمانی مشخص می‌باشد، به طوری که تضمین می‌کند طرح پیشنهاد شده تقاضای بار را در سطح قابل قبولی از قابلیت اطمینان برآورده خواهد کرد. با پیدایش روش‌های مدیریت انرژی و مصرف توان الکتریکی، روند رشد بار کاهش یافته اما همچنان نیاز به بهینه سازی مسائل بهره برداری بهینه دربخشهای تولید، شبکه انتقال و توزیع برای تامین و انتقال توان از تولیدکنندگان به مصرف-کنندگان وجود دارد. لذا حل مسئله توزیع بار اقتصادی به صورت بهینه و در سطح قابل قبولی از قابلیت اطمینان ضروری می‌باشد. هدف اصلی این مسئله کاهش هزینه بهره‌برداری می‌باشد. هزینه بهره‌برداری شامل هزینه عملکرد نیروگاهها و نگهداری شبکه می-باشد. علاوه بر هزینه اهداف دیگری نظیر قابلیت اطمینان شبکه نیز وجود دارد که به صورت دقیق و جدی بررسی نشده اند، لذا در این مقاله این اهداف بررسی می شوند. در این مقاله یک چارچوب بهینه سازی چند هدفه ایمن برای دیسپاچینگ نیروگاهها ارائه گردید.کمینه سازی هزینه، انرژی توزیع نشده به عنوان توابع هدف بهینه سازی در نظر گرفته شدند. پرونده مقاله

        امروزه با افزایش میزان تقاضا برای انرژی الکتریکی استفاده از منابع تولید پراکنده و به ویژه منابع تجدید پذیر روز به روز در حال رشد می‌باشد که این منابع در غالب ریزشبکه‌ها توان مورد نیاز سیستم را تامین می‌کنند. بهره‌برداری از منابع تجدیدپذیر معمولاً با عدم‌قطعیت همراه می‌باشد. از این رو، در این مقاله در ابتدا آرایش بهینه تولید منابع تولید پراکنده موجود در سیستم در دو مد جزیره‌ای و اتصال به شبکه تعیین می‌گردند. از آنجایکه بهره‌برداری از ریزشبکه در حضور منابع تولید پراکنده و قیود مختلف، یک مسئله بهینه‌سازی با قیود متعدد می‌باشد در این مطالعه از الگوریتم جستجوی فاخته که یک الگوریتم فراابتکاری با سرعت همگرایی بالا می‌باشد به منظور حل مسئله بهینه‌سازی و تعیین آرایش تولید واحدها استفاده شده است. به منظور کاهش تأثیر عدم‌قطعیت توان خروجی سیستم فتوولتاییک از ذخیره‌سازی انرژی استفاده شده است که در این مقاله ظرفیت بهینه آن متناسب با شرایط بهره‌برداری تعیین می‌گردد. الگوریتم پیشنهادی برای تعیین ظرفیت بهینه باتری در یک ریزشبکه نمونه پیاده‌سازی شده است. نتایج بدست آمده نشان دهنده کارآیی روش پیشنهادی برای تعیین آرایش بهینه منابع تولید پراکنده و ظرفیت بهینه باتری دارد. پرونده مقاله

        Recently, Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems have been utilized increasingly in power systems. With the addition penetration of CHP-based co-generation of electricity and heat, the determination of economic dispatch of power and heat becomes a more complex and challenging issue. The optimal operation of CHP-based systems is inherently a nonlinear and non-convex optimization problem with a lot of local optimal solutions. In this paper, the Improved Shuffled Frog Leaping Algorithm (ISFLA) is used for solution of the problem. ISFLA is an improved version of shuffled frog leaping algorithm in which new solutions are produced in respect to global best solution. The ISFLA is well able to attain the optimal solutions even in the case of non-convex optimization problems. To evaluate the efficiency of the proposed method, it has been implemented on the standard test system. The obtained results have been compared with other heuristic methods. The numerical results show that the ISFLA is faster and more precise than other methods. پرونده مقاله

        This paper proposes the exchange market algorithm (EMA) to solve the combined economic and emission dispatch (CEED) problems in thermal power plants. The EMA is a new, robust and efficient algorithm to exploit the global optimum point in optimization problems. Existence of two seeking operators in EMA provides a high ability in exploiting global optimum point. In order to show the capabilities of EMA in solving CEED problem, several experimentations are conducted on systems with 6, 10, and 40 generation units applying valve-point effects and network power losses in a multi objective function consists of system fuel cost and emission level. The obtained results are compared with other advanced techniques such as Strength Pareto evolutionary algorithm, non-dominating sorting genetic algorithm II, multi objective evolutionary algorithm, fuzzy clustering-based particle swarm optimization, multi objective differential evolution, gravitational search algorithm, modified bacterial foraging algorithm, etc. The results well demonstrate the practical advantage of the exchange market algorithm over the other approaches. پرونده مقاله

        Generally the generation units in the traditional structure of the electricity industry try to minimize their costs. However, in a deregulated environment, generation units are looking to maximize their profits in a competitive power market. Optimum generation planning in such structure is urgent. This paper presents a new method of solving economic dispatch in the competitive electricity market with the aim of maximizing the total contribution profit of power generation. In this regard, with a combination of two intelligent optimizations, a new efficient algorithm which called improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is suggested. The simulation of the new approach and conventional PSO algorithm were performed on two case study systems, 10-units and 15-units. According to the results, the suggested method not only resolves the convergence problem, but it also makes more efficient response. پرونده مقاله

        During extremely hot summer days, air conditioning systems are known as major electricity consumers in residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Moreover, high energy requirement of multiple-chiller plants may cause an interconnected power grid be faced with annual on-peak electrical demand, load-generation mismatch, voltage collapse and catastrophic wide area blackout. Therefore, this paper presents a day-ahead economic dispatch model for water cooled multiple chiller systems aiming to minimize total power consumption of cooling towers, pumps and chillers. In addition, refrigeration capacity limit of each chiller and cooling load-generation balance criterion are considered as optimization constraints. On/off status and partial load ratio of each chiller, power consumption of pump/cooling tower/chiller, temperature of chiller outlet water, temperature of cooling tower outlet water, mass flow rate of cooled water, mass flow rate of water flowing in and out of cooling tower are considered as decision variables. Simulations are conducted on a benchmark system with two 550 refrigeration ton (RT) units, four 1000 RT chillers and different cooling load levels over a 24-hour time horizon using generalized algebraic mathematical modeling system (GAMS) software. پرونده مقاله

        As renewable energy increasingly penetrates into power grid systems, new challenges arise for system operators to keep the systems reliable under uncertain circumstances, while ensuring high utilization of renewable energy. This paper presents unit commitment (UC) which takes into account the volatility of wind power generation. The UC problem is solved with the forecasted intermittent wind power generation and possible scenarios are simulated for representing the wind power volatility. The iterative process between the commitment problem and the economic dispatch(ED) problem will continue until we find the optimum mode of committing the units. Furthermore we have considered a hydro pump storage (HPS) unit to be a part of operating system in order to mitigating wind power forecasting errors and peak shaving. Numerical simulations indicate the effectiveness of the proposed UC for managing the security of power system operation by taking into account the intermittency and volatility of wind power generation پرونده مقاله

        In this paper particle swarm optimization with smart inertia factor (PSO-SIF) algorithm is proposed to solve combined heat and power economic dispatch (CHPED) problem. The CHPED problem is one of the most important problems in power systems and is a challenging non-convex and non-linear optimization problem. The aim of solving CHPED problem is to determine optimal heat and power of generating units with the minimized cost of total system and satisfied constraints of problem. In proposed algorithm inertia coefficients are controlled with respect to cost function in each population. So, each population has unique inertia coefficient and as a result unique velocity in convergent direction for the best group solution. In order to examine the proposed algorithm's capabilities and find optimum solution for CHPED problem, two test systems considering valve-point effect, system power loss and system constraints are optimized. The obtained results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method in solving non-convex CHPED problem over other new and efficient algorithms. پرونده مقاله
