Drought stress is the most important cause of yield reduction in oilseeds. In the meantime, changing the planting date and ascorbic acid consumption can reduce the harmful effect of stress. Therefore, the present study was conducted to investigate the effect of irrigation levels and ascorbic acid on the yield of Camelina and the amount of fatty acids and oil under the influence of different planting dates in the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 crop years in Ilam province. The first factor was planting date in the main plots at 4 levels including 15th April, 25th April, 4th May and 14th May; the second factor was irrigation in the subplots at 3 levels of 40, 80 and 120 mm evaporation from the evaporation pan and the third factor was ascorbic acid at 2 levels of foliar spraying and no foliar spraying. The results showed that the highest grain yield was obtained in the treatment of planting date 25th of April, 40 mm of evaporation from the evaporation tray and ascorbic acid consumption of 1573.4 kg.ha-1. In the late planting date, the use of ascorbic acid increased the grain yield. At all levels of drought stress, the use of ascorbic acid increased the grain yield. The highest linolenic acid was obtained in the treatment of planting date 15th April, 40 mm of evaporation from the evaporation tray and ascorbic acid consumption of 11.83%. In general, the use of ascorbic acid in all planting dates, especially the last planting date, increased the quantitative and qualitative yield. With increasing stress intensity, the quantitative yield and the amount of fatty acids decreased, but the use of ascorbic acid was able to prevent it to a large extent.
