    The residential satisfaction of housing users in cities has much importance in urban housing planning. Besides the physical and mental health of the residents, the residents' satisfaction with the residential environment is effective on the important indicators of planning, such as the quality of life, the displacement rate, and the housing demand forecast. Identifying various factors in the residents' satisfaction of a neighborhood from the quality of their residential environment can better decide to improve the quality level of their residence location and assess the qualitative situation of the quality components in the desired residential environment. The present research was conducted to improve the quality of the architectural space of housing with a biophilic approach in District 1 of Tehran city. This applied research is based on descriptive-correlational and field research. The statistical population of this research was all the citizens over 18 years of age in District 1 of Tehran city. A questionnaire was used to collect data, and the questionnaire was randomly distributed among 384 people in a simple stratified manner, statistical analyzes were performed using this number of respondents. The results of data analysis showed that the indicators of satisfaction with housing, the criteria involved in improving the quality and desirability of the residential environment, criteria involved in traditional biophilic architecture and biophilic architecture are placed on moderate to a high level and have a favorable condition. Also, the results of multiple regression indicated that modern and traditional biophilic architecture criteria have a positive effect on users’ satisfaction with housing. پرونده مقاله

    2 - Zoning and modeling of energy consumption in human settlements and explaining the effective components in the design of green buildings (Case study: Mashhad)

    The purpose of this study is to achieve the effective components and criteria in the design of green residential settlements with an environmental protection approach in Mashhad. The research method is applied and in terms of implementation is descriptive-analytical. Using the TM sensor and LANDSAT satellite, satellite images of the study area were prepared and modeled by superimposing data related to energy consumption through GIS tools and Arcview software to final synthesis and mapping. Then, using the opinions of experts to extract and prioritize the appropriate components and criteria from each of the mentioned systems. Data were analyzed by structural equation method with least squares approach and Smart - PLS2 software was used for final analysis. Then, after explaining the components and criteria, according to the available data, the optimal limit (10% -20%) for 10 components was proposed as a scenario. Then modeling was done through Design Builder software. The results showed that a total of 4 categories of macro variables have been identified as the main components affecting energy consumption, which are: "management", "environmental performance", "economic performance" and "social performance" variables, all of which have divergent validity. Also, 11 topics and 61 criteria were extracted and explained as components for assessing the sustainability of residential buildings. Finally, it was found that with the implementation of energy optimization strategies, the heating system will be reduced by 36%, the cooling system energy by 41% and the total cooling and heating energy by 38% compared to the base state. پرونده مقاله

    The objective of the current study is investigating the use of water in the traditional architecture of Qajar Period in Yazd City and the manner of thematic dispersion in the area under study. The research has employed mixed methods (Qualitative and quantitative). In order to identify the aspects of using water in the traditional architecture, the interpretive historical method was employed. The mentioned aspects were prioritized by using Delphi Method (experts’ panel) and questionnaires (spectral checklist). Finally, in order to draw the zoning maps, GIS Software, Version 3.3 was used. Results showed that a total of fifteen components were identified in the form of two main aspects (conceptual and physical) as the main components of using water in the traditional architecture in Yazd Province. The component of “hierarchy” with the weight factor of 4.63 and the component of “color” with the weight factor of 4.44 were the most significant ones and the component of “empty space”, with the weight factor of 2.41 was recognized as the least significant one. With regards to six aspects of using water, there was no difference among the cities of Yazd Province, and the type of attitude to these components was equal throughout the province to a great extent. With regards to the components of transparency, hierarchy, color, environmental health and nature, some differences were observed throughout the province, in such a way that these components mostly play a role and are significant at the center of the province (Yazd City) and the west side of the province. Yazd province has been very progressive and diverse in the field of water application in architecture, So that all dimensions and functional components of water have been reflected in the architecture of the Qajar period. پرونده مقاله
