    In this research, a Keggin-type heteropolyoxometalate (H3PWO12O40) supported on TiO2/ZnO nanoparticles were used for degradation of phenol under UV light and H2O2 was used as oxidant. Based on the results, heterogenization of H3PWO12O40 on TiO2/ZnO could be improved photocatalytic process and could be considered an appropriate heterogonous photocatalyst in the removing of phenol from aqueous solutions in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. Degradation of phenol in the presence of the H3PWO12O40/ZnO could lead to the disappearance of approximately 95% of phenol under UV irradiation and optimized condition. In the same experiment H3PWO12O40 as homogenous catalyst, removed 70% phenol and heterogenous TiO2/ZnO catalyst removed less than 70% phenol from water solution in the same condition. پرونده مقاله

    In this study, ternary mixed metal oxide (Ce2O3/La2O3/Fe3O4) catalysts were synthesized for reduction of SO2 to sulfur by CH4. The response surface method (RSM) was used to optimize the synthesis conditions. The XRD, FESEM, BET, BJH, EDX and NH3-TPD analyses were performed to characterize the synthesized catalysts. The optimum conditions were obtained for an activated catalyst with 8 wt% La, 16 wt% Fe, and calcination temperature of 650°C. The highest surface area was found to be 71.7 m2.g-1. The validation tests proved that the predicted model was well fitted with the experimental data. Furthermore, the SO2 conversions were compared at various temperatures (550-800 °C) and it was found that the highest reactivity was found for optimum Ce2O3/La2O3/Fe3O4 catalyst. The highest SO2 conversion was found to be 93% at 800 °C. The catalytic results showed that optimum ternary Ce2O3/La2O3/Fe3O4 catalyst had a better performance compared to pure cerium oxide. پرونده مقاله

    Ionic liquids are liquid in wide range and could be applied in many fields. These compounds can be used as solvents for inorganic and organic synthesis and show biological activities. 1-ethyl-3-Methylimidazolium bromide (1) as an ionic liquid has been synthesized from the reaction of 1-methylimidazole and ethylbromide in toluene as solvent and under refluxed condition. The prepared compound was characterized by 1H-NMR, IR spectroscopy and elemental analyses. The effect of cytotoxicity of -ethyl-3-Methylimidazolium bromide (ion liquid)on the MCF-7 cell line has been investigated. The cytotoxic activity of synthesis compound was assessed by the MTT colorimetric method in vitro assay performed in human MCF-7 breast carcinoma cell line. Dose effect of compound was investigated and results showed that the cytotoxic effect was dose-dependent. The decrease of concentration of ion liquid was followed by markedly increase of tumor cell viability. The cytotoxicity of 1-ethyl-3-Methylimidazolium bromide, expressed as IC50values after 48 h incubation. This value was 2.91 mM for mcf-7 cell line. پرونده مقاله
