    The geometrical characteristic of products is one of the crucial quality indicators in the cold roll forming process. In this process, an appropriate flower pattern for rolls is vital to achieve the desired geometry and quality for high-strength steel pipes. In this paper, four different flower patterns, including circular, edge bending, double radius, and reverse bending are designed for the roll forming process of the high-strength steel pipe. Then, the effect of the flower pattern on the curvature distribution of the deformed strip is investigated using finite element analysis. The accuracy of the finite element model is evaluated by performing experimental tests. The results show that forming the strip with the reverse bending flower pattern leads to a more uniform curvature distribution in its cross-section, especially in the edge portion. Thus, this flower pattern design method is recommended for the roll forming process of the high-strength steel pipes. پرونده مقاله

    با توجه به کاربرد گسترده اتصالات جوش مقاومتی نقطه‌‌ای با ضخامت نامشابه در صنعت خودروسازی، بررسی رفتار مکانیکی آن‌ها اهمیت قابل توجهی دارد. این مقاله به بررسی مشخصه‌های دکمه‌ی جوش، مود و مکانیزم شکست اتصال جوش مقاومتی نقطه‌ای فولاد کم کربن با ضخامت نامشابه حین تست کشش-برش می‌پردازد. از پارامترهای نیروی شکست، انرژی شکست و مود شکست برای توصیف رفتار مکانیکی اتصال استفاده شد. در جوش‌های با اندازه‌ی دکمه‌ی مناسب، خط انجماد نهایی در مرکز هندسی اتصال قرار دارد. در مود شکست محیطی، شکست با گردنی‌شدن فلز پایه در ورق نازک‌تر رخ داد. نتیجه گرفته شد که اندازه‌ی دکمه‌ی جوش، عمق نفوذ جوش و استحکام فلز پایه با ضخامت کم‌تر فاکتورهای اصلی کنترل کننده‌ی ظرفیت تحمل نیرو و قابلیت جذب انرژی جوش‌های مقاومتی نقطه‌ای با ضخامت نامشابه است. پرونده مقاله

    In this paper the process of laser forming has been investigated using an analytical and an experimental method for three levels scans velocity. A coupled analysis has been performed in ANSYS®. Also in order to prove the predictive methods, experiments on thin sheet metals have been done when a laser of a fair power was used. Before done, experiments were designed with full factorial chosen as the experiment scheme planning. For performing experiments a CO2laser a maximum power of 200 watt is used. A CMM is used to measuring the bending angle of the workspice. Finally, a statistical analysis on the experimental data was performed. The comparison between numerical and experimental results shows the bending angle decreased by increasing the scan velocity also rate of the bending angle decreased by increasing the scan velocity. پرونده مقاله

    In this paper, buckling of orthotropic rectangular plates under different loadings was investigated. For this reason, governing buckling equations for an isotropic plate were modified by applying constitutive equations of orthotropic materials. After obtaining the equations of orthotropic plates, Generalized Differential Quadrature method (GDQM) was applied on buckling equations and thus a set of Eigen value equations resulted. In order to solve this Eigen value problem, a computer program was developed using MATLAB software in a way that the influence of different parameters such as length to width ratio (aspect ratio), the number of layers, the angle of layers arrangement, material of layers, kind of loading and boundary conditions were included. A buckling load factor was calculated for simply supported and clamped supported plates. The results of GDQ method were compared with reported results from Rayleigh – Ritz method and with results from solving the Finite element using ANSYS 8.0 software. The comparison showed the accuracy of obtained result clearly. پرونده مقاله
