The purpose of this study is to design a model of cultural intelligence based on organizational interactions in Homa Airlines, conducted using a mixed-methods approach. The participants in the qualitative section consisted of 50 experts from Homa Airlines, with the final sample size determined as 18 individuals through purposive sampling until theoretical saturation was achieved. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using the grounded theory method. The statistical population in the quantitative section comprised the employees of Homa Airlines (Shiraz branch), totaling 1100 individuals. In the quantitative section, data were collected using a questionnaire. The reliability of the measurement tool was determined using Cronbach's alpha test. Data analysis in the quantitative section was performed using structural equation modeling technique and Smart-PLS software. Ultimately, 37 categories were identified and classified into causal factors (communication skills, cultural diversity, individual cognitive skills, cultural commonalities, cultural expectations, training programs, and personality traits), contextual factors (learning capability, cultural interactions, behavioral responses, participation, self-confidence, high-quality personal relationships, intelligence, and interpersonal communication), intervening factors (socialization, mutual understanding and tolerance, cultural adaptability, peaceful coexistence, individual exchanges, relationship management, and cultural awareness), strategies (creativity and analytical power, norms, trust, in-group relations, cultural cohesion, knowledge systems, social technology, intellectual content, psychological activities, technological innovation, and abstract thinking), and outcomes (dual functions, technology ethics, standardization, and technology enhancement).
