Objective: The purpose of this research was to provide a model of factors affecting the desired physical policies in women's sports.
Methods: A qualitative research with a systematic exploratory approach was chosen. The statistical population of the research includes professors of sports management, sports sociology and sports psychology (at least two researches in the field of this title) and elite female athletes (at least ten years of continuous sports activity and winning championship medals in national competitions and master's studies and Ph.D.) The number of these people was approximately 45 people. The statistical sample was selected based on reaching theoretical saturation (18 people). The research tools included a systematic library study and exploratory (semi-structured) interviews. The validity of the tool was evaluated and confirmed based on the validity of the sample, experts' opinions, and agreement between the correctors. In order to analyze the findings, a multi-stage conceptual coding method with a systemic analysis approach was used.
Results: Based on the extracted conceptual framework, 4 overarching themes, 11 organizing themes and 43 basic themes were obtained. Optimal physical policies in women's sports are influenced by factors such as sports (sports timing and sports venue), personal (family and personality), environmental (economic, cultural, social, climate, and media) and educational organizations. Education, Ministry of Science and Ministry of Health).
Conclusions: Therefore, according to the results of the research, it is suggested to create effective programs in the optimal use of women's sports facilities, and also to focus on the qualitative development of capacities and fair distribution of facilities at the country level for women's sports.
