The purpose of the present study is to review the relationship between components of organizational resilience and job satisfaction and mental health of high school teachers in the province of Kermanshah. The method of research is descriptive-correlational and its performance method is survey. The statistical population of the research consists of all female teachers in governmental and nongovernmental high schools of Kermanshah. Convenience sampling was used in this research to determine 286 teachers as the sample of study with regard to the total population (N=1000) and based on the Cochran formula. The research measurement instruments included three questionnaires of Public Health (Goldenberg), Adults' Resilience Scale for Adults (Friborg et al.), and Job Satisfaction (Kendall & Hulin). The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by the experts and their reliability was calculated to be 95%, 89%, and 93% respectively. For data analysis, descriptive statistical methods (frequency, percentage, average, and standard deviation) and inferential statistics including correlation and regression were used. The results showed that there is a negative and significant relationship between components of resilience (personal qualification, social qualification, social support, family integrity, and personal structure) and mental health signs. Furthermore, a negative and significant relationship was observed between aspects of job satisfaction (occupation, supervisor, and colleagues) and mental health signs while there was no significant relationship between aspects of promotion and payment. Regression analysis results revealed that among predictor variables, the variables of personal qualification, social support, and personal structure have the potential to predict mental health symptoms. With respect to the research findings, the managers can have a positive impact on the betterment of their employees' resilience and job satisfaction.   Manuscript profile

The purpose of the present research is to study efficient and inefficient Olympic federations using data envelopment analysis. This study is descriptive and retrospective and its data have been collected using field research. The statistical population consisted of 25 Olympic federations in the country and due to limited population, total sampling was used in the research. The data related to these federations in 1395 were collected. In order to determine the efficiency of the federations, data envelopment analysis was used. In data envelopment analysis, the first step is to determine the research input and output. To this aim, indices (strategies) of the federations determined by balanced scorecards were distributed throughout a questionnaire. In order to determine whether the evaluation indices are input or output, Chi-squared test was used and for recognizing unfavorable output factors of inefficient federations, output-centered CCR and BCC methods were used. SPSS and DEA SOLVER software were used for data analysis. The research results showed that with 95% certainty, from among 9 strategies (evaluation indices) in Olympic federations, 4 strategies are input and 5 strategies are output. Moreover, 7 federations in the CCR model and 6 federations in the BCC model were assessed to be inefficient. Manuscript profile

The purpose of the present study is to review the effect of media consumption on the athletic performance with the intervening role of quality of life among table tennis athletes in the province of Tehran. This study is descriptive-correlational and was conducted through field research using questionnaires. The statistical population consisted of all table tennis athletes in the province of Tehran among whom 1500 members were active according to the obtained information from the province assembly. Based on Morgan table, 306 athletes were chosen as the sample of study. In this regard, three questionnaires including Media Consumption by Mahmoudian et al. (2015), World Health Organization Quality of Life (1999), and Athletic Performance by Qasemi (2012) were used.  The reliability of the questionnaires was calculated to be 0.86%, 0.081%, and 0.91% respectively. Descriptive statistics was used for the classification of raw scores, design of frequency distribution table, and assessment of dispersion indices such as mean, standard deviation and frequency. Besides, the research hypothesis was tested using Path Analysis and SPSS. The results showed that media consumption is effective on the athletic performance of table tennis athletes with the intervening role of quality of life among table tennis athletes in the province of Tehran. The purpose of the present study is the comparative review of the effect of two exercising plans on some body composition indices of the obese female girls in Ahwaz. To this aim, 45 obese students in district 1 of the education administration of Ahwaz were purposefully chosen and then they were randomly assigned to 3 groups of 15 girls. In order to control the participants’ dietary plan, the nutrition remembrance questionnaire was used. Body composition indices including body mass index (BMI), waist-hip ratio (WHR), and body fat percentage in both pre-test and post-test stages were measured and registered. For inside group comparison, dependent t-test was used and for the comparison of the 3 groups, the variance analysis (ANOVA) as well as Tuckey’s Post Hoc in the significant level of 0.05 were used. The results showed that doing 8 weeks of aerobics and playing games both significantly reduced the BMI and body fat percentage but only playing games could significantly reduce the WHR (P<0.05). According to the results of the present research, it is recommended that in order to control children obesity, in addition to organized exercises, sport activities in the form of playing be used as well.
