        The aim of study was to evaluate the moderating role of moral identity in the effect of family functioning on moral behavior. The research method was discriptive correlational. The statistical population was female students of Hormozgan University (2824) in the 2019 year that 338 people were selected as sample using the Morgan table. Research participants completed the Questionnaire of Family functioning (Epstein, 1983), Moral Identity (Aquino and Reed, 2002), and Moral Behavior (Luzier, 1993). The subscales of FAD were Roles, Affective Responsiveness, Affective Involvement, General Functioning, Communication, Problem Solving and Behavior Control. Pearson correlation coefficient and structural equation modeling were used for data analysis. analyses were performed using SPSS21 and Amos21 software. Findings showed there were significant relationships between problem solving, general functioning, affective involvement, roles & affective responsiveness to moral identity and roles, affective responsiveness and moral identity to moral behavior. there were significant relationships between roles and moral behavior mediated by moral identity and between affective responsiveness and moral behavior mediated by moral identity. it can be conclude, moral identity can influence the relationship between family function and moral behavior (p<0/01). family functioning components (affective responsiveness and roles) affected on moral identity and moral behavior, directly and indirectly.         Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of moral perfectionism on online social behavior with the mediating role of online interpersonal trust and moral identity in students of the country's top sports talent Olympiad.Methodology: The research method is descriptive and field-based. The statistical population of the study included student-athletes of the country's student olympiads. Due to the infinity of the statistical population, the number of samples was 384 people according to Morgan's table and the sampling method was a multi-stage cluster. Research tools included Yang et al.'s (2015), Moral Perfectionism Questionnaire, Igres et al.'s Online Social Behavior Questionnaire (2018), Asura et al.'s online interpersonal trust questionnaire based on Mayer and Mishra model (2015), and Black and Reynolds's Moral Identity Questionnaire (2016). To ensure the validity of the questionnaires, the opinions and guidelines of experts in sports management science were used and their opinions were included in the final questionnaire.Results: The results showed that moral identity and online interpersonal trust play a mediating role in the relationship between moral perfectionism and online social behavior; Also, the structural model of the research showed a favorable fit according to the index value of GOF = 0.52.Conclusion: Therefore it is recommended that paying attention to ethics discussion, especially moral perfectionism and moral identity in schools and their teachings should be included for the development of desirable online social behavior in student-athletes.         Introduction: The purpose of this study was to explain the relationship between moral behavior and identity of high school students by the mediating role of psychological and situational benefit. Research Methodology: The research method was descriptive-correlational. The sample size included 907 (393 girls and 514 boys) high school students in the city of Hamedan who were selected by multi-stage cluster random sampling, and answered the Moral Behavior (Delfan Biranvand and Rashid, 1400), Moral Identity (Aquino and Reed, 2002), and the Benefit (Delfan Biranvand  and Rashid, 1400) questionaries. Data were analyzed by structural equation modeling using Lisrel-8.8. Findings: The results showed that psychological and situational benefit play a significant mediating role in the relationship between moral behavior and identity. Conclusion: Based on the results of the present study, it can be said that psychological and situational benefit can be explained as good factors for explaining the reason for the individuals’ moral behaviors. Because evaluating how beneficial moral behaviors, such as honesty, can motivate individual to show the right behaviors.   Manuscript profile

        the aim of this study was to test the factor structure and internal consistency of the 10-item moral identity of (Aquino & Reed, 2002) based on moral traits of an Iranian sample of college students. The sample consisted of 429 students (313 females, 111 males, 5 not reported). The exploratory factor analysis identified two factors accounting for 50.41% of the variance: Symbolization (34.67%) and internalization (15.74%). Internal consistency of the symbolization and internalization factors were 75% and 61%, respectively. The confirmatory factor analysis results indicated that the two factor model fitted the data better than one factor model. Manuscript profile

        This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of real-life ethical dilemmas training on moral identity in adolescent. The study method was quasi-experimental design (pre-test, post-test, follow-up) with experimental and control groups. Participants comprised 60 students (30 female and 30 male) from tenth grade in 2018-2019 academic year, selected by purposive sampling method using Identity Styles Inventory (Bennion & Adams, 1986). Students who were successful in identity style inventory, completed Moral Identity Questionnaire (Aquino & Reed, 2002) and they randomly divided into experimental and control groups. Then experimental group was trained for eight sessions (each session was 70 minutes) by Real Life Ethical Dilemmas (Green, 2011). Then both groups participated in the post-test and follow-up test after eight weeks. Results showed that the mean of moral identity and its dimensions scores increased after training, but the difference between the two groups in the follow-up stage was not significant. Also, the effect of real-life dilemmas training in symbolizations dimension was more significant in boys' group than the girls' group in the post-test. Thus, moral identity can be changed based on training; however, ongoing and continuous training and moral environment are the prerequisites of attaining reliable effects from training.         The purpose of the present study was to investigate the mediating role of moral identity (with two dimensions of internalization and symbolization) in the relationship between family communication patterns (with two patterns of conversation orientation and conformity orientation) and happiness. Participants were 308 undergraduate students (125 women and 183 men) of Shiraz University selected by random multistage cluster sampling method. For data gathering, revised version of Family Communication Pattern Questionnaire (Koerner & Fitzpatrick, 2002b), Moral Identity Scale (Aquino & Reed, 2002), and Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (Argyle, 2001) were used. The findings showed that conformity orientation and conversation orientation were significant negative and positive predictors of happiness, respectively. The symbolization of moral identity could predict happiness positively and significantly. Between the two dimensions of moral identity, only moral symbolization played a mediating role between variables of family communication patterns and happiness. Conversation orientation was a positive significant predictor of happiness indirectly through symbolization of moral identity as a mediator variable. According to these results, it can be concluded that increasing conversation orientation of family leads to an increase in children's symbolization of moral identity and happiness. Manuscript profile

            In order to construct a moral identity scale primarily based on Aquino and Reed (2002) model, two pilot studies were conducted. The first study aimed to identify moral traits among college students. One hundred and twenty two students (56% females) participated in a free-listing task. The participants were asked to list characteristics that a moral person possessed. A content analysis of the traits based on five criteria (Hardy et al, 2011) resulted in 26 non-redundant traits. In order to obtain further evidence that these 26 traits had sufficient content validity, in a sample different from the first study 217 students (58% females) were asked to rate each trait using a scale ranging from 1(absolutely unnecessary) to 5 (absolutely necessary). The results indicated that 24 traits were judged to be above the midpoint of the scale. Investigating the results of females and males students led to identification of nine traits that had the highest ratings: polite, trustworthy, honest, self-respect, rational, loyal, fair, religious, and patient. These nine traits were considered as identity-invoking stimuli for constructing moral identity scale. The implications of the findings were discussed. Manuscript profile
