        Media literacy as a strategy has to be implemented in the country after it has become known as a necessity for promotion in the country in order to benefit from the effective and effective use of the media and reduce its destructive effects, and it should support a scientific consensus. Therefore, it was necessary to take action. Some governments in the world have included this issue in their various topics and accepted the importance that citizens and citizens need to obtain from the media a lot of information and to obtain the necessary literacy and knowledge for their use and then to refer to them. This was the motive for critical thinking and the formation of sprawling spaces in the media field, which gave a special look to this issue. Also, the result of the research showed that there is a direct and significant relationship between the aesthetic dimension of media literacy and social capital, that with the aesthetic dimension of media literacy, the social capital of the individual also increases. After that, aesthetics refers to the ability to understand media concepts from an artistic point of view, and this depends on the art and skill of the media in producing the message in the dimensions of aesthetics, which works just like the artist's unique artistic style. Achieving literacy skills through the media can help to connect the audience with the mass media, and it strengthens the trust and social capital of the media to audiences and collective minds. To have audience will be able to protect themselves against media destructive consequences andchallenges in life alongside present plural media by enjoyment of well informed and actively media should create newliteracy that is called by the name of media literacy. Literacy media in addition to considerable ability in traditional literacythat is reading and writing skills creates the ability to analyze and evaluate messages and data transmission to others invarious formats and by different instruments in man. It also enables people to understand media work procedure and howmeaning it, i.e. the nature and purposes of media produced messages and effects and techniques of various media which makehim out of the mere consumerism and resist him against the damaging effects of the media.To clarify this issue, the study seeks to answer the question that what is approach of media literacy in developing countries?In this research, comparative study is used based on library and document method using information written resources,documents and valid scientific evidence needed to answer the research question were collected and presented.         The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a media literacy training program and determine its effectiveness in reducing Internet addiction and improving the quality of life of teenagers in Karaj. In the present study, the development of the educational program, the qualitative part and the evaluation of the effectiveness of the educational program had a quantitative part. In the qualitative part, it was a type of thematic analysis with a sequential exploratory design and in a quantitative part, it was a semi-experimental type with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population included teenager students aged 15 to18 years in Karaj in 1397, which was a sample of 400 teenagers who were diagnosed with Internet addiction using the Internet Addiction Questionnaire, of which 40 were randomly selected and randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups. For the teenagers in the experimental group, a media literacy training program was conducted in 10 sessions, each session lasting one hour. Data analysis was performed using multivariate and univariate analysis of covariance. The results showed that media literacy training significantly reduced Internet addiction in the experimental group participants. Education also had a significant effect on quality of life and its components; But in the components of social functioning, emotional problems and physical pain were not significantly effective. Based on the findings of the present study, it can be concluded that the media literacy training program can be used as an effective intervention to reduce Internet addiction and increase the quality of life of teenagers Manuscript profile
