  The aim of this study was to predict love trauma and depression based on attachment styles of university students with emotional breakdown. The conducted study is descriptive and correlation, and the population consisted of all Qom University students with emotional breakdown who studied in the academic years of 2015-16. 200 students were selected by purposive sampling method. For data collection, Attachment Style(Collins and Reid, 1990), Beck Depression(Beck, 1961) and Love Trauma(Ross, 1999) Inventories were used. To test the hypotheses, software spss was used that the results showed from attachment styles only avoidant style is able to predict love trauma(p>0/001) and depression(p>0/006) significantly.
