Ecotourism resorts are considered as one of the most important rural tourism businesses and have a high impact on rural development. One of the important challenges among tourism planners is the existence of different views and attitudes regarding the effects of the construction of ecotourism resorts, which leads to the formation of different thought patterns. Identifying and explaining these thought patterns is an important application for tourism planners in adopting the best programs. The villages of Moran district in Garmi city of Ardabil province are considered as important eco-tourism spaces of the province. The main purpose of the research is to identify and analyze the prevailing thought patterns on the effects of creating eco-tourism resorts on the dimensions of Moran rural development. For this purpose, the necessary data were collected through survey and libraries methods. The statistical sample is a combination of 60 experts, including rural participants and experts. The analytical model of Q has been used. Based on the results of this model, four thought patterns governing the effects of ecotourism resorts on sustainable rural development in Moran were identified that the first thought pattern is very important compared to other patterns. According to the first intellectual model, eco-tourism resorts in general have had positive and high impacts on various sectors of rural development in Moran. Also, other models are different from the first model in terms of impact assessment and have a relatively different attitude to the effects of eco-tourism resorts on Moran rural development.
