  This research was conducted with the aim of evaluating the effect of social capital changes on life satisfaction. The data collection tool in this research is 2 questionnaires (social capital and life satisfaction questionnaire). The reliability of the research tool has been confirmed based on Cronbach's alpha test for social capital 0.70 and for life satisfaction 0.72. The statistical population includes the marginal neighborhood of Khomeini city in Isfahan. The sample size in this research is equal to 413 people and the sampling method in this research is multi-stage cluster sampling. The tool for analyzing the questionnaire data of this research is SPSS & AMOS statistical software. In order to generalize the results obtained from the sample size to the statistical population, regression models, one-sample t-test and Friedman's test have been used to examine the research data. The findings of this research showed that; Social capital has a significant effect on life satisfaction, the status of social capital in the statistical population is lower than average and life satisfaction is higher than average.  Manuscript profile
