The main purpose of the present research was to investigate «Simone de Beauvior’s» (1949) point of view on «maternal love». This study investigated the various ideologies on «maternal instinct» with regard to the important and principal role of women within the society during their lifetimes, which considered the childbirth and motherhood. «Simone de Beauvior» (1949) considered motherhood as a form of female slavery and asked them to avoid marriage and childbirth to end the patriarchal culture. This was whilst many philosophers considered motherhood a privilege, which coud not be achieved by men. The method used in this research was a descriptive-analytical, with the implementation of library tools. The findings based on the analysis of evidence and data indicated that despite a lack of enthusiasm shown by modern western women for married life and motherhood, there were many amongst them who tried to conjoin motherhood with progress and freedom. They believed that by creating a balance between the societies’ working condition and that of the pregnant women and mothers, they could be helped to attain scientific, educational, economical and political progress. In today's philosophy, the possibility of harmony, closeness and mixing of different fields, including the field of literature and philosophy, has been provided. The purpose of this article is to examine the phenomenological aesthetics of the works of Simon de Beauvoir, a famous philosopher and writer of the 20th century, and to explain the positive consequences of this creative attitude. In fact, de Beauvoir writes philosophically and in the form of writing a metaphysical novel, he brings literature and philosophy closer to each other. More than a writer, he is an artist who cultivates ideas about art and literature through his thoughtful texts and fiction works. Simon de Beauvoir is not a phenomenologist, but his thoughts have the talent of phenomenological reading, as his attention to intentionality, inter-subjective relationship, individual, experience, other and self-loneliness, has made his works worthy of phenomenological study and research. The present article aims to provide the possibility of such a reading of his works by briefly reviewing the concepts raised in de Beauvoir's works. Manuscript profile

The Shahnameh, the valuable masterpiece of Ferdosi, is the reflection of cultural values and national identity of Iran, in which women play different roles in different sections of life based on their feministic identity. Simone de Beauvoir, the French feminist writer in the 70th decade, in her book, “The Second Gender” considers the women in the same rank of men in thinking and learning capabilities which should not be judged merely based on their feministic power. The aim of this research is to study Ferdosi’s view on the women in the Shahnameh and its analysis with Simone de Beauvoir’s point of view.It is done in descriptive analytic and comparative method and shows that she considers the women society as the second gender who must put aside the role of being wife and mother to be able to compete with men. The sensible examples of these are the humiliation of women against men which makes them unreliable: the nature which De Beauvoir thoroughly rejects and criticizes it, but they are seen in Ferdosi’s poetry. Some of Ferdosi’s verses consider women as without sagacity and second gender so that they shouldn’t be consulted with. Ferdosi’s poetry indicates patriarchal and cultural system. Manuscript profile
