Realizing a cosecant-squared pattern is a challenging research area due to its widespread use in air-surveillance radar systems wherein the radiation characteristics of the tracking antenna play a significant role in accurate tracking of the targets. However, little research has been performed on realizing a cosecant-squared pattern in leaky-wave antennas (LWAs). In this paper, the authors present a synthesis procedure for realizing a cosecant-squared pattern in LWAs using optimization. To achieve the cosecant-squared pattern, the antenna is divided into sections each with an appropriate length, periodicity, and leakage rate. The length of the sections is determined such that all the sections have the same directivity. Moreover, following the appropriate layout for the beam pointing angle of the sections, the periodicity of the sections is obtained. The objective then is to determine the values of the leakage rate. This objective is achieved using optimization, which in this study is a genetic algorithm. To this end, through defining a proper cost function, the objectives are determined following the proposed optimization procedure. The procedure is described within a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) LWA. A prototype of the antenna is fabricated and measured. Apart from the good agreement between the simulation and the measurement results, the proposed synthesis procedure can provide a target pattern with low ripples in the shaped region (≤ 2 dB) and a low level of side lobes (≤ -18 dB), making the antenna suitable for air-surveillance radar systems. In this paper, an effective technique is proposed to determine thenumerical solution of nonlinear Volterra-Fredholm integralequations (VFIEs) which is based on interpolation by the hybrid ofradial basis functions (RBFs) including both inverse multiquadrics(IMQs), hyperbolic secant (Sechs) and strictly positive definitefunctions. Zeros of the shifted Legendre polynomial are used asthe collocation points to set up the nonlinear systems. Theintegrals involved in the formulation of the problems areapproximated based on Legendre-Gauss-Lobatto integration rule. This technique is so convenience to implement and yields veryaccurate results compared with the other basis. In addition aconvergence theorem is proved to show the stability of thistechnique. Illustrated examples are included to confirm thevalidity and applicability of the proposed method. The comparisonof the errors is implemented by the other methods in referencesusing both inverse multiquadrics (IMQs), hyperbolic secant (Sechs)and strictly positive definite functions. The increasing applications of compound materials in various industries, including aerospace, shipbuilding, micro and macro dimensions have, So researcher special attention to the design of these structures. In this study, static analysis of a rectangular plate with the special case of high order correction of shear deformation was investigated by considering the, secant function in spatial change field. In this study, the relation between the changes and the Hamilton's principle has been achieved by forming the different energy term of the system. To solving the governing equations, the Navier - stokes equations are implemented using sinusoidal and sinusoidal functions and considering the boundary conditions of the system. By solving the equations, the deflection values of the plates are calculated according to the changes in the system parameters and the obtained results are compared with the results contained in the validated literature and the accuracy of them is sufficient. In conclusion, the bounded analysis with the help of secant functions is very close to the responses obtained from similar researches and in certain cases we can use these functions. Introduction: Considering the increasing number of saline lands due to water scarcity, it seems necessary to investigate ways to increase tolerance to salinity stress. Also, in order to overcome the negative effect of salinity stress, the use of calcium ion supplement in the growth environment is very useful and practical to improve the stress factor. Objective: The purpose of this research was to investigate relative water content, electrolyte leakage, amount of mineral elements, antioxidant capacity, phenolic compounds and activity of phenylalanine ammonia-lyase and tyrosine ammonia-lyase enzymes in leaves of triticale (x Triticosecale Wittmack) treated with sodium chloride and calcium chloride.Materials and methods: This experiment was conducted as a completely randomized design with 3 replications in controlled greenhouse conditions. One-week-old seedlings were exposed with sodium chloride doses (0, 50, 100 and 150 mmol L-1) and calcium chloride doses (0, 6 and 10 mmol L-1) for 5 weeks and then some physio-morphological and biochemical characteristics including leaf number and surface, relative water content, ion leakage, contents of phenolic compounds (anthocyanin, total phenol, total flavonoid, total flavonol), enzymes activity (phenylalanine ammonia-lyase, tyrosine ammonia-lyase, glutathione reductase, glutathione S-transferase), antioxidant capacity and amount of mineral elements (sodium, potassium, calcium) were measured in leaves. Results: The results showed that salt stress significantly decreased the number and surface of leaves, relative water content, activity of glutathione reductase enzyme, the amount of potassium and calcium in leaves, but increased ion leakage, the contents of phenolic compounds, activity of phenylalanine ammonia-lyase, tyrosine ammonia-lyase and glutathione S-transferase enzymes, antioxidant capacity and sodium content in leaves. While the addition of calcium to saline environment increased the number and surface area of leaves, relative water content, activity of glutathione reductase enzyme, the amount of potassium and calcium in leaves, but decreased ion leakage, the contents of phenolic compounds, activity of phenylalanine ammonia-lyase, tyrosine ammonia-lyase and glutathione S-transferase enzymes, antioxidant capacity and sodium content in leaves. Conclusion: Calcium reduced the harmful effects of salinity stress in leaves of triticale plant, so adding calcium to salty soils can be a simple, practical and economic solution to deal with salinity stress and increase soil productivity and a step towards to provide sustainable agriculture. In the modern era, the antennas with cosecant squared pattern play a significant role in radar applications. These applications are used to cover an airspace to search for targets and estimate their height. In this article, a method is proposed for the synthesis of cosecant squared pattern using leaky wave antenna. The principal mechanism in the leaky wave antennae is wave attenuation due to power leakage while the wave propagates through the structure. Thus, by controlling the leakage and phase constants along the length of the structure, one can synthesize the desired radiation patterns. We have used the genetic algorithm to optimize the leakage constant and obtain the desired cosecant squared pattern In the range of 10 to 30 degrees. Conformity in simulation results and measured results indicates accuracy in the design process. The proposed method obtains the desired pattern with a ripple of less than 2 dB in the designated area and side lobe level less than -18 dB, which makes the antenna suitable for radar applications. Application of allelopathic plants for the control of weeds in many crops has been proved. This field study was conducted for two years (2001-2002) at Hamadan agricultural research center. Experiments were a factorial design based on randomized complete block with 8 treatments and 4 replications. Three crops (Brassica napus, Vicea sativa, Secal cereal) as allelopathical crops were cultivated by alone, double and treble at autumn season and as green manure, mixed with soil at spring, and then a week after, potato (Agria) was planted in plots. Results showed that, there were significant differences in all measured parameters include of fresh weight of cover crops (g/m2 ), fresh weight of weeds  (g/m2 ), number of weeds per square meter and potato yield (t/ha). S. cereal treatment has the highest fresh weight between cover crops. All of treatments could reduce number and weight in weeds at comparison with check treatments (without cover crop). Yield of potato increased by 40% in top treatment (S. cereal) in comparison with check treat. The final results revealed that, the allelophathical plants as cover crops, before potato, not only increases yield, but also decrease weed population in potato field without usage of herbicides.
