In other words, this paper studied the following question: How much would be the increase in the inputs of the DMU if the decision maker increases certain outputs to a particular unit in which the DMU maintains its current efficiency level? In this study, unlike other proposed methods, the above question was addressed using just the single-objective linear programming (LP) problems. The problem of estimation of inputs was investigated based on the non-radial models. Necessary and sufficient conditions are proposed for estimation of inputs using just the single-objective LP problems. In addition, the level of deficiency (if any exists) in each of the output components is specified. An example with real data is presented to illustrate our proposed method. Manuscript profile -

In other words, some Decision Making Units (DMUs) can use a factor as an input while it may play an output role in other DMUs. This type of factors is called flexible factors. In this paper, a model is proposed to develop models of flexible factors type in the DEA model. This model, at the same time, minimizes the inputs contraction factor and maximizes the outputs expansion factor in the Russell efficiency measure, in presence of flexible factors. The proposed measure in objective function is linear. In the other words, the relation between the factors is suggested as an additive function. In fact, the proposed model, in contrast the Russell measure is not nonlinear. By an illustrated example, the proposed model is compared with the existing models. Manuscript profile -

In this paper, a new method for measuring the aggregative efficiency of multi-period production systems using the data envelopment analysis (DEA) technique is proposed. The provided approach could be considered as extension of the radial methods in the literature. An extended Russell based model is presented for the first time to measure aggregative efficiency with respect to the time intervals of the production stages. One of the useful features of the proposed model is that the inefficiency of the existing aggregative approach is detected in one step without need to account for the second stage of optimizing slack variables. Some properties and advantages of the new model is discussed. Finally, to illustrate the applicability of the new approach, two practical examples are investigated and analyzed. The results show the good performance of the proposed method. Manuscript profile -

This paper isconcerned the non-radial model of Russell which is a non linear model. Conventional DEAfor a large dataset with many inputs/outputs would require huge computer resources in termsof memory and CPU time. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is one of the most populartechniques for non linear models and for measuring the relative efficiency of a large datasetwith many inputs/ outputs. Also in the last decade researches focused on efficiencyevaluation via DEA as well as using ANN. In this paper we will estimate the input excessesand the output shortfalls in addition to efficiency of Decision Making Units (DMUs) inRussell model through ANN. The proposed integrated approach is applied to an actualIranian bank set; the result indicates that it yields a satisfactory solution.works. Manuscript profile -

The essence and the nature of critical thinking, its chief principals and its reinforcing plans are what going to be studied in this essay, using a descriptive-analytical and comparative method. The results show that these three approaches toward critical thinking are not in the same way, especially Russell’s viewpoint which is more different. Specifically, critical thinking has been discussed by Paul and Ennis, and both have purposed exact plans for its practicality and integrating it to the educational curriculum. Their approach, also, have a lot in common with psychological approach, too. But Russell’s viewpoint is of theoretical and philosophical one. He explained and justified critical thinking from a humanistic viewpoint. Regardless of these differences, applying critical thinking both in believes and actions of the teachers is the vary point with which they are, all, agreed. They believe that these points not only should be thought but also should be put into practice. Manuscript profile -

The results of composite variance analysis showed a significant difference between the environments, genotypes and the genotype × environment interaction. The results of parametric statistics analysis showed that According to the berhart and Russell method, the Pardis green genotype with the highest yield and line slope has special adaptability to Autumn planting, and the FILIP 2004-31L genotype with a line slope close to one was a desirable and stable genotype. Based on Rick's equivalence and stability variance of Shukla, FILIP 2004-31L genotype was the most stable and Sabz Pardis were the most unstable genotype .According to Plaisted Peterson parameters θᵢ, genotypes 7, 14, 5, and 6 with the lowest amount of θᵢ are more stable and in terms parameter Plaisted θ₍ᵢ₎ and genotypes 7, 14, 5,and 6 are more stable with the highest amount of GE variance. Also, according to Francis and Kanenberg CVi parameter, genotypes with low coefficient of variation of environmental variance (EV) and Average high yield seems to be the most desirable. Genotypes 4, 1, and 8 are more stable. In total, genotype 7 having a low regression deviation bi=1.04, Rick's equivalence (Wi2), and Romero's environmental variance, Peterson's plastid θᵢ is low and relatively favorable performance is considered as a stable genotype. Most of analytic philosophers believe that the clarification of philosophical propositions through concept analyses can be effective in pedagogical issues in children. Bertrand Russell (1872-1967) had a great role in pedagogical issues of children. Since Sa’di has focused on pedagogical issues, too, we study the story of “clan of thieves” by keeping an eye on Russell and Sa’di. We conclude that they have some consensuses as well as some differences. This essay explains their distinctive views. Manuscript profile
