This study was carried out to investigate the competition of weeds with different cultivars and planting densities of red beans over two years. The experiment was completely randomized block with factorial arrangement and three replications per treatment. The treatments included beans cultivars (Sayyad, Derakhshan and Zanjan local seed lot), row spacing (20 and 30 cm)anddensities (20, 30, 40 and 50plants persquare meter). The number and the dry weight ofweedspecieswere determined at four-leafstage, 50% flowering and maturity. The resultsshowed thatweedspecies of bean were green foxteil(Setaria viridis),tumble weed(Amaranthus albus),lambsquarter(Chenopodium album),barnyardgrass(Echinochloa crus-galli)andredroot pigweed(Amaranthus retroflexys) within two years. Zanjan local seed lot with densities of 30 and 40 plants per square meter and row spacing of 30 cm and densities of 40 plants per square meter with 20 cm row spacing were the most tolerance to the presence of weeds along with higher yield. Bishapur is the third city in Sassanid city built by Shapur 1th. The name of this city has been recorded in various reports of historians and documents derived from archaeological excavations. Many researchers have tried to adapt the name Bishapur and the works mentioned in the existing documents to the works identified from archaeological excavations and sometimes to their derivation. The present research is based on the purpose of the research type and based on the nature and method of historical research. This research seeks to answer the question of what is the meaning of Bishapur and the two works identified in contemporary explorations called Temple of Anahita and the applicable hall for the name of the works mentioned by Islamic geographers? The present study concludes that the name of Bishapur does not mean the work of good or the Lord of Shapur. Bishapur is a correction of the word "Beit-e shapur" meaning Shapur's home or town, this name is prefixed in the name of many Sasanian cities. Also, according to studies, the name of the two famous fire temples, referred to as Early Eslamic by the names of Sheberkhashin and Gavsar dome, is actually the name of the two major buildings of Bishapur, respectively, building B (reception hall) and building A (temple Anahita Manuscript profile

In every society there exists a kind of collective consciousness known as national awareness and it is expressed in Persian literature as national patriotic theme.  The purpose of this article is to discuss and evaluate Gholam Ali Ra’di Azarakhshi’s viewpoints regarding Persian language, culture, civilization, and social values of Iran and to study and analyze national and patriotic themes in his compositions. Furthermore, the application of contemporary epic literature in his compositions is studied.  Using descriptive analytic and library approach the attempt is made in this article to study themes such as patriotism, antagonism towards enemy, also to study national and historical characters.  The results obtained show that Ra’di paid special attention towards contemporary epic functions such as anti-colonialism, national identity and language, preservation of independence and territorial integrity.  His attitude towards the concept of homeland and patriotism is to a large extent different from that of other poets.  The vastness of his thoughts in celebrating national and historical figures spans past till present characters. In the past few decades one of the difficulties and questions in the field of philology of Shahnameh is the ambiguity concerning the record of either “Rakhsh” or “Dakhsh” used in the phrasal verb “to rakkhsh/Dakhsh with the meaning of “ to darken “ in four couplets of Shahnameh.  The majority of shahnameh manuscripts in this regard is “Rakhsh” and the choice of most editions and authentic emendations except for the text edited by Dr Khaleghi Motlagh and his colleagues is “Dakhsh”.  The word “dakhsh” which means “dark” apparently was first recorded in Jahangiri Dictionary compiled (1017 H.G) with reference from Shahnameh and then was repeated in other Dictionaries. The author of this article based on certain documents assumes that the latter form if genuine is more accurate and is more superior to Rakhsh. Moreover it is likely that in Shahnameh manuscripts it would have been altered to a more familiar and simple form of Rakhsh.  Rakhsh and “to Rakhsh” with the meaning of “to darken” is not seen in Farsi Dictionaries and texts and the etymology of this word is also completely opposite of this meaning, however the suggested etymologies for Dakhsh confirms the meaning of “blackness” for it.
