The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of mindfulness training on psychological well-being and strategies to deal with the stress of mothers of physically and physically disabled children. The quasi-experimental research method was pretest-posttest with control group. The statistical population included mothers with children with physical and motor disabilities and, as available, 30 people were selected and replaced in two experimental and control groups. The research tools were the Riff Psychological Short Scale Form (1998) and Volkman and Lazarus' (1988) coping strategies. The training group was trained in mindfulness, but the control group did not receive training. Then, the above variables were measured again in two groups. Data were analyzed using covariance analysis. The findings showed that psychological well-being and stress coping strategies improved significantly in the experimental group compared with the control group (p 0.0 0.05). The results of the present study showed that education was effective in the field of mindfulness, psychosocial well-being and coping strategies for mothers of physically disabled children. Mindfulness training leads to changing patterns of thinking thinking and attention control skills training, which increases the ability to cope with challenging situations. Manuscript profile
