        In order to accurately and intelligently analyze the countries’ art and cinema, it is vital to study the intellectual, religious and political trends of the country. Thus, it is essential to identify, from the beginning till now, the Japanese active trends and movements in government, thought, culture and media, as well as animations produced by companies affiliated with the trends. Therefore, one of the goals of the research, which seems to be left inattentive in the conventional studies, is identifying and investigating the "nationalism progress in Japanese animation and cinema". Considering the shortcomings and drawbacks of the neo-formalist methodology, in order to achieve a deeper understanding of the philosophy, aesthetics, media and social effects of the animation, along with the precise understanding of its form and technique, a special methodology known as "Technical- Philosophical" is used in the research as a kind of qualitative analysis methods. Based on this method, going beyond processing the form mere, attention is also paid to the social contexts and the supporting religious, ideological and political trends, as well as the philosophical evaluation of the animation effects on human exaltation or decline. Finally, the "nationalism trend" in Japanese animation products is identified and the "Manga Mito Kōmon” is also examined as a case study.
