Abstract In order to investigate the effect of Azolla compost on vegetative characteristics of ornamental plants, Pedilanthus tithymaloides was selected as a model plant. In this regard, an experiment was conducted as a completely randomized design in five treatments and three replications in the Advanced Greenhouse of the Research Institute of Biotechnology, Rasht. The Growing media control of this study, peat-perlite-sand, was considered 1: 1: 1 ratio, and the compost Azolla was replaced by 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% volumes. The treatments consisted of: Azolla compost + 100% Peat-perlite-sand (control), Azolla compost + 75% Peat-perlite-sand, 50% Azolla compost + 50% Peat-Pearlite-Sand, 75% Azolla compost + 25% Peat-perlite-sand and 100% Azolla compost + 0% Peat-perlite-sand. In this experiment, growth indices, including number of leaves, number of buds, length of bud, fresh and dry weight of stem, fresh and dry weight of root were measured. The results showed that replacing Azolla compost levels had a significant effect on leaves number, length of bud, fresh and dry weight of stem, fresh and dry weight of root. Comparison of the substrate used showed that replacement of 25% Azolla compost in the Growing media had the most effect on Pedilanthus plant growth indices. Manuscript profile

This study was carried out to evaluate the effects of different practical diet including different carbohydrate and lipid levels on growth performance, digestive enzyme in juveniles of Caspian Kutum (Rutilus kutum). Fish with initial average weight of 1.32 ± 0.25 g were fed five isoproteic and isenergic formulated diets with different carbohydrate levels including 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25% and different levels of lipid including 23, 21, 19, 17 and 15 % in triplicate groups for 10 weeks. Results showed that carbohydrate level to 25% and 15 % lipid significantly increased some growth indices such as specific growth rate (SGR) and final weight (Wf). Result of digestive enzyme showed that the digestive enzyme significantly influence by carbohydrate and lipid different levels and the highest activity in alkalinphosphatas and N amino peptidase were observed in T1 treatment. These results indicate that increased in carbohydrate levels from 5 to 25% and decreased in lipid levels from 23 to 15 % have not any negative effect on growth parameters. Manuscript profile

AbstractIn this study, some characteristics of growth, age and reproduction of brond-snout (Chondrostoma regium) population were studied in Alvand River of Kermanshah province monthly for one year from June 2019 to May 2020. A total of 6 age groups (1-6) were identified. 120 females and 105 males with a sex ratio (female to male) 1.06: 1 was detected from 225 caught fish. The predominant age was 4 years and the mean total length in the males and females were 205.23±22.42 mm and 234.09 ±29.42 mm, respectively, which showed a significant difference between the genders (p≤0.05). The length-weight linear relationship for male and female were Lt = 310[1-e -0.31(t+0.52)] and Lt = 327[1-e -0.34(t+0.49)], respectively. The growth pattern for male and female was allometric negative and allometric positive, respectively, and the mean obesity coefficient for male and female were 1.01±0.11 and 0.99±0.08, respectively. The mean absolute fecundity of fish was 11921.22±2284.54, which increased with the age and decreased egg diameter. The mean gonad index for male and female was 1.8±0.13 and 8.64±0.72, respectively (p≤0.05).  Manuscript profile

Abstract     The general purpose of this study was to examine the effect of using the growth network on creativity and academic achievement of grade two female students of primary schools in Sari. This research study was applied in terms of purpose and in terms of method it was quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test design with a control group. The statistical population consisted of all grade two female students of primary schools in Sari in the academic year 1300-1400 who totaled to 6478 people. Due to the quasi-experimental nature of the study, 60 people (30 in the experimental group and 30 in the control group) were recruited by random-Multi-stage cluster sampling. To collect the data, Torrance Creativity Questionnaire (1959) with 60 items and four scales (fluidity, semantic expansion, initiative and responsiveness) and Hermans Progress Motivation Questionnaire (1970) with 29 items were used. The face and content validity of the instruments were secured and their reliabilities were obtained using Cronbach's alpha coefficient which for Creativity Questionnaire yielded 0.766 and for Progress Motivation Questionnaire was estimated to be 0.779. Multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) and univariate analysis of covariance (ANCOA) were used to analyze the data. The results showed that the use of growth network for creativity and academic achievement of grade two female students of primary schools in Sari has a significant effect. Using the network to increase creativity (fluidity, semantic expansion, initiative and conceptualization) also was demonstrated to exert a significant effect Manuscript profile

AbstractsThis experiment was conducted as factorial base on randomized complete blocks design with three replications at Agriculture and Natural Resources Research Station, Samian, Ardabil in 2015. The first factor included three canola cultivars (Hyola 308, Hyola 401 and R.G.S 003), second factor was three row distances (20, 30 and 40 cm) and the third factor comprised of plant distances on row (5 and 10 cm). Results showed that the effect of cultivar was significant on traits of growth and reproductive periods, total growth period, and the number of pods per plant. Effect of cultivar and row spacing interaction was significant on seed oil, thousand seeds weight and seed yield. Also, interaction between cultivar, row spacing, and plant distances was significant on all traits except for oil yield. Spring rapeseed, Hyola 308 cultivar showed the highest seed yield (2.55 t ha-1), the highest pod per plant (338.89), and seed per plant (9536) in combination treatment of 20 cm row spacing and plant distance of 5 cm. Also, the highest oil yield (899.05 kg ha-1) was achieved by Hyola 308 planted in 20 and 30 cm row spacing. Having total period of vegetative and reproductive growth of 103 days, Hyola 308 cultivar was determined as the earliest growing cultivar. Generally, results showed that the Hyola 308, as early growing and high yielding cultivar, gained the highest oil and seed yield in combination treatment of plant spacing of 5 × 20 cm for this region.
