The Timurid period is a period in the history of Iran in which women do not have a favorable position. Jami, one of the prominent poets of this century in Haft Aurang, has a dual and often negative approach to women in referring to the women of his Masnavi; In contrast, the situation has changed during the constitutional period. In the Malek osh-Sho'arā Bahār’s poets, this change of attitude and improvement of the position of women can be clearly seen. This can be related both to the political and social conditions of the poet's age and to his personal view of women. Analytical-descriptive study shows that Jami in Leili and Majnoon presents a positive image of female characteristics such as beauty, loyalty, intellect, etc. introduced as a liar and lustful. This dual approach is also observed in the Malek osh-Sho'arā Bahār’s poetries, with the difference that a positive attitude towards women is more prominent. Woman is not only mentioned as a mistress, but also the rationality, personality and humanity of women In Malek osh-Sho'arā Bahār’s poems. Manuscript profile

Sufism in the specific sense means finding the truths of things through discovery and intuition. In fact, cognitive mysticism depends on the spiritual state and is not described, and is directly related to the Absolute Being and is manifested first in the human soul and human essence, and secondly in human actions and behavior. The use of representations and symbols to express delicate and complex Sufi concepts was common among the Persian mystics and poets in the early periods of Islamic mysticism, in particular Maulana Abdul Rahman al-Jami, as one of the last great poets of that period. The appearance of “water” had a clear and high place in the mystical stories and tales of these great people as it was used as a symbol of “knowledge”. The influence of this issue is quite noticeable not only on the poets of his time but also on the poets of our time. We aim in this research to study the impact and reflection of this thinking on the thought and poems of the contemporary poet Sohrab Sepehri as one of the most creative Sufi poets. In the poem "The Message of the Fish", Sohrab reproduces the word "water", which is the symbol of "knowledge", in Islamic mysticism in the best possible way and beautifully. Since Sohrab's Sufi thought, in addition to Iranian Islamic mysticism, is influenced by other schools of thought, especially Buddhist mysticism, this interest will be very important and worth considering.          From the past until now, the position and image of women in Persian literature has not been the same and in different historical periods, manifestations of feminism and misogyny can be seen in literary works. Jami, as one of the poets of the Timurid period, has introduced different manifestations of women in his poems. In this research, with a descriptive-analytical method, the contradictory view of Jami's view about the appearance of women in the two Masnavi of Lily and Majnoon and Salaman and Absal is investigated. The purpose of this article is to analyze femininity (Lily and Majnoon) and misogyny (Salaman and Absal) in Jami's poems. Examining the image of women in these two Masnavi shows two opposing views in Jami's works, as in Lily and Majnoon it presents a positive image of the characteristics of women such as the manifestation of the divine spirit, wisdom, loyalty, chastity, etc., and in Salaman and Absal, the woman. He has introduced a deceitful being, imperfect of intellect, a means of seeking men, unfaithful, an infidel of blessings, ill-tempered and ignorant. Although sometimes in Lily and Majnoon we rarely see misogyny from the language of slanderers against Lily; This can be both the political, social and cultural context of the Jami period and his personal views on misogyny and the glorification of storytelling and symbolism. Valuable and influential works that, along with popularity and acceptance, have played a significant role in the formation and consolidation of stories and storytelling in Persian literature. Among the anecdotes of these books, there are less anecdotes created by the author himself, perhaps most of the authors took the anecdotes from previous sources or the works of his contemporaries and translated them according to the desired theme with artistic ability and in accordance with the common style of his time.Majma 'al-Nawadir is a collection of anecdotes, narrations and parables written by Faizullah ibn Zayn al-Abidin ibn Hussam Banbani, known as Sadr Jahan (d. 907 AH) during the reign of Mahmud Shah Bigara (863-917 AH). In this work, Banbani has used his contemporary or previous sources. One of these sources is Baharestan Jami (with 28 common anecdotes and narrations). The main source of these anecdotes in Arabic and Persian texts was also found in the previous studies of these two authors. Such as books of nathr aldur fi almuhazarati, Tazkerat al-Hamduniyah, muhazarat al'udaba'. Persian sources have a smaller share of this frequency. Despite the commonalities of these two works, Banbani did not pay attention to brevity and Jami to simplification. There are many differences in the expression of the concept of anecdotes. Plato is one of the three great philosopher in classical Greece. The human being and his problems are the main concerns in his works. Then, the major efforts in his philosophical essays is paying attention to the human issues like ethics, justice, love etc. . . . Since past, Plato’s written works, due to their ethical and idealistic point of view, has drawn the attention of western and eastern philosophers and his ideas has been welcomed by Muslim philosophers and even Islamic mysticism has been influenced by Plato’s ideas. One of the concepts he has addressed is love. Plato has paid attention to the concept of love in three works called Phaedrus, the Republic, and in Special Way of Symposium. The Symposium is a narrative of the six Athenian’s dialect (including Socrates) about love that Plato is narrating. In the present study, we tried to investigate the concept of love in the Ozri love-seeker poet's book, Jamil bin Muammar, with an analytical and comparative approach based on the opinions expressed in Symposium and in a Particular Way according to Socrates opinions. In other words this study is a comparative investigation between viewpoint of Plato as a cultured philosopher and Jamil bin Muammar as a poet who has been lived in an Islamic society and has been purified by Islamic morality. Therefor, the study aims to discovering the common points and ideas in the Symposium and poems of Jamil. What has come out of this investigation is that some aspects of the opinions presented in Symposium, especially Socrates opinions are seen in the lyrics of Jamil Bin Muammar and his view of love. We see these aspects in the cores of the love’s interstitial nature of love, seeking half-lost (or alter ego), characteristic of immortality of love, and love and courage. Manuscript profile

Attitudes are relatively stable assessments of various phenomena in the social world in people's minds. Functional Attitude Theory examines the inner motivations of human beings, the cause of attitudes and their role and function in creating social behaviors. In Haft Owrang poetry, the poet's use of allegory and the narrative format, in most cases, has contributed greatly to the emergence of Jami's views on individual, interpersonal and social issues. The present article has studied the subject of "Hypocritical Sufis" from the perspective of analyzing their personality and behavior based on Functional Attitude Theory using analytical-descriptive method. The result of the research shows that the attitude of different social classes towards the phenomenon of hypocrisy and its manifestation in the Jami’s age as "Hypocritical Sufis" can be classified into two "profit-seeking" and "value-seeking" functions. Also, the role of political and cultural conditions, traditions and customs of society, as well as the function of mysticism can be considered in this field. Despite the relative stability of Jami's view, the study of the contradiction in attitude as "cognitive inconsistency" is also important in Jami's Haft Owrang, where the poet has implemented the two approaches of "attitude justification" and "following destinism" in this component. The woman as a half of the human society has a special place in the new studies. Viewing the great development in attitudes to the main social elements that exist in present time, it is necessary to study the views of different classes of society about woman for knowing her more generally and accurately. Sufis (mystics) for the high and positive position that they have among the various classes of society, their views has a special importance. In this essay it is tried to analyze the face of woman from the view of greets Sufis like sanaie, attar and Jami. What is understood from the first view is that they receive most of their thoughts from the high education of Quran and the prophet's tradition. In the second stage, we understand from the result of this essay that their positive and probably negative view about women is not personal and emotional. But as we see some examples of them in Quran and the speech of the greats of religion, is often reaction against negative and in appropriate individual behavior and the roles that some women have played. The criticism of in correct human behavior, not themselves, is confirmed today from the psychological view. The negative impact with inappropriate behavior and negative character of individuals is something that does not allocate to woman kind. There are many people that we had a bad memory of them in Quran like Abojahl and Abolahab. Our great mystics, according to the conditions of time and the speech position, sometimes introduce women as a model and pattern that men should learn from them the lesson of manliness, reliance and devotion. Abstract : The main topic of this research is a combination between stylistic of letters of Jami and Ghazzali with the approach of critical discourse analysis. The letters of mystics and great scientists are major historical sources which, in addition to enclosing a lot of political, social and cultural information of the past, they show the relationships between the writers and authorities and different social classes. In this research we are trying to investigate the stylistic features of Jami and Ghazzali in three levels of description, annotation and explanation based on 3_dimentional model of Norman Fairclough in order to answer this questions that each one used which discourse and language strategy to communicate with others in political subjects? Which common and different points are exist in stylistic and language features of their letters? What role does discourse play in letters? The metod of this study is analytical-descriptive and our results showed that the ruling discourse on the letters of Jami is gnostic which, centered on divine love and ruling discourse on the letters of Ghazzali are ascetic which, centered on futurism. Each of them manipulate a discriminate discourse in letters to save authority against government ; but in fact the relationship of Jami's authority is via alignment with power of governors, on the other hand Ghazzalis's authority is via standing against the government apparatus and by this method could control the authority and invited them to adminstrative of justice and supporting people.           Nooruddin Abdul Rahman Jami is one of the prominent figures in the field of Islamic sciences in Greater Khorasan. He has left various works in various fields of literature, mysticism, religion, etc., which shows the extent of his awareness. Among these works is the Divan of Poetry, which can be read and analyzed from various dimensions, especially the reflection of theological issues. In this paper, relying on the descriptive-analytical method and library resources, Jami's theological views on the category of "special prophecy" in this work are examined. The results of the research show that Jami did not have a special commitment to any theological school and often used the theoretical foundations of Shia (more) and Ash'ari and Mu'tazilite (less) theology in explaining his views. The closeness of Jami's views to the standards of Shia theology can be justified by his inclinations toward Shafei jurisprudence, which is the closest Sunni group to Shiism. His most important views on the subject of "special prophecy" are: the relationship between the resurrection of the Prophet and the guidance and happiness of human beings; the superiority of Muhammad over all creatures; Muhammad, the main purpose of creation; Being a divine grace, being a trustworthy person; miracles (the Qur'an and other miracles); being the seal of the prophets and being in the forefront of creation.           Ethics is a human concept, and since literature is a means of representing categories related to humanity, we have witnessed widespread reflection in literary texts. Islamic mysticism is one of the intellectual and cognitive styles that describe and define the ethics for which it is defined. The Sufis, using a variety of tools, especially poetry, have expressed their most important ethical thoughts and teachings, including Jami and Feiz Kashani. These two students of Ibn Arabi school of mysticism have discussed ethical humanistic attributes in the Sonnets that will be examined and compared in this study, using a descriptive-analytical approach. The results of the study show that two poets have spoken about "abandonment of selfishness, desirable love, altruism, worldliness, blasphemy, hypocrisy, silence and blasphemy and worldly blasphemy." It also turned out that Jami'ah had mentioned cases of "repentance and avoidance of persecuted people", and Feiz Kashani had spoken of "the necessity of performing rituals, the welfare of a good friend and the neglect of blasphemy." In sum, the ethical recommendations of the poets are rooted in two sources of Islam and Islamic mysticism and are thus defined in one respect. Manuscript profile

Baharestan Jami (817-898 AH) is a book of ethics and moral advice with simple prose mixed with peotry written in 892 AH. Jami has written this instructions and allegorical work in imitation of Saadi's Gulestan. The fourth vow of Jami’s Baharestan is about love and lovers. Muhiuddin ibn Arabi (638-660 AH) is a great Andalusian mystic whose mysticism is based on love. Love is considered by Jami and Ibn Arabi to have many similarities. This paper is a descriptive-analytic and library research that aims to answer the question of what love is to Ibn al-Arabi and Jami. Based on the research findings, Jami seems to have been influenced by Ibn Arabi in explaining love, and both consider love to be innate and the basis of creation. For Ibn al-Arabi and Jami, the principle of mysticism, love, and unity of existence is that the centrality of the being and the truth of existence is the right of transcendence, and there is no other truth apart form that. Comprehensive mosques of some cities, since the early days of Islam and beyond, have been very active not only in the field of worship but in all aspects of educational, cultural, political, social and economic dimensions. All these dimensions and functions led to the emergence of Islamic civilization in Muslim mosques, and mosques, especially comprehensive mosques, were the first base for the growth and development of this universal civilization. The most important function of the mosque is its scientific and educational function as the most important pillar of the birth and uplift of a genuine civilization, and this article deals with it more than other functions. This experiment was designed to characterize the effects of size and concentration of an Iranian clinoptilolite zeolite on the growth ofFicus benjamina (starlight) in peat base media. Ficus benjamina was stock rooted and grown in a peat consisting perlite (2: 1 v/v) (P: Pe), zeolite (10, 20, 30 and 40 v/v %, two sizes 0.5-3 mm and 3-8 mm) instead of peat in P: Pe (2: 1 v/v) media. Ficus benjaminawas grown in the substituted media for 10 month under fiberglass cover greenhouse, with 4 pots for each treatment. The control consisted of P: Pe alone without zeolite. The results showed that the substitution of 10-30 v/v % zeolites in control did not result in significant difference (p £ 0.05) in shoot and leaf fresh weight, shoot and leaf dry weight, shoot dry weight, leaf dry weight in comparison to control. Instead, substitution of 10-40 v/v % zeolites instead of peat significantly increased media electrical conductivity (EC). There were no positive correlations betweenFicus benjamina growth and the amounts of mineral-N in potting mixtures or concentration of nitrogen in leaves of plant. Zeolite particle size significantly increased the pH in comparison with the control. With Regard to the high relative price of peat with respect to natural zeolite, zeolite substitution in an amount of 10-30 vol. % is economically preferred. Manuscript profile

Ficus benjaminais a very popular and resistant indoor plant in temperate areas. Cutting is the easiest propagation method of this plant and it requires special treatments such as auxin and appropriate rooting medium. In order to test the suitable auxin (IBA) concentration and rooting media, a factorial experiment carried out based on randomized complete block design with three replications. Experimental two factors were different concentrations of IBA (0, 2000, 4000 and 6000 ppm) and rooting media (sand, perlite and sand+perlite mixture). Rooting percentage, root number and longest root length was evaluated. Based on the results both rooting percent and longest root length were gained under 4000 ppm IBA. Rooting percent was maximized in combined treatment of "4000 ppm IBA+perlite" and "6000 ppm IBA+ sand". The high number of roots was gained in "6000 ppm IBA+sand". Manuscript profile

Ficus benjamina L. is indoor plant in temperate areas that is a tree species belongs to Moraceae family. Propagation of this plant is down by vegetative method. This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of IBA concentration and time of taking cutting on propagation of Ficus benjamina via stenting technique in Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, in 2012. Treatments were consisted of auxin concentrations in four levels (0, 2000, 4000 and 6000 mg/l) and the cutting time (late June and early September). The experiment was performed as factorial in a completely randomized design with four replications so that ten samples were used at each replication. Percentage of graft success, rooting percentage, root number, longest root length and root dry weight were evaluated. Based on the results, largest percentage of graft success obtained in all the treatments that the hormone was used (2000, 4000, 6000 mg/l) and lowest was achieved in the control treatment. Highest rooting percentage and maximum of root number were gained in 4000 mg/l and 6000 mg/l. Longest root length and maximum of root dry weight were recorded in cuttings treated with 4000 mg/l IBA. In treatment of cutting time, all traits were the highest in early September. The results showed that IBA and time taking cutting had a large impact on the success of graft and rooting. The most important Persian mystical book in the 9th century Hijri is Nafahat al-Ons Men Hazarat al-Qods written by Abdol al-Rahman Jami.  Since the specialists at the time were not aware of the existence of the unpublished Persian manuscript, Tohfat al-Morshedin Men Hekayat al-Salehin or due to the inconsistencies that existed in the content of this copy with that of Nafahat al-Ons, they have not acknowledged the significant part this manuscript played in Nafahat al-Ons and instead they have given its share to Rozat al-Riyahin Fi Hekayat al-Salehin. Tohfat al-Morshedin written by Jalal al-Din Mohammad Ebadi Kazerooni is in fact the translation of the well-known Arabic mystical book Rozat al-Riyahin Fi Hekayat al-Salehin written by the distinguished Sufi in the 8th century Hijri, namely Abdollah al-Yafee al-Yamani and the two Persian manuscript copies of this work, one found in Lahoor in 818 Hijri and the other found in the city of Ayasufieh in 838 Hijri are at present at the disposal of the writers of this article. This article attempts to provide evidence by comparative approach.  Evidence such as Jami’s reference to Tohfat al-Morshedin in the manuscripts of Nafahat al-Ons, identical selection of some anecdotes both in Nafahat al-Ons and Tohfat al-Morshedin, Jami and Ebadi, both have taken common pieces from the text of Rozat al-Riahin, Jami’s interest to use Persian sources and how he could find access to Tohfat al-Morshedin, is cited to acknowledge the significance of this work. Abstract Hatefi Jami, a nephew  of Abdor-Rahman Jami is one of the qualified poets in the Timurid era  master in all genres of poetry particularly in narrative Masnavi.  In imitation of Nezami, he has produced many such Masnavis such as Laily and Majnun, Shirin and Khosrow, Haft Manzar, and Tamor Nameh.  Towards the end of his life he composed an epic in the name of Shahnameh on victories of Shah Esmaeil Safavi which remained unfinished.  Apart from the aforementioned Masnavis Hatefi composed a book of poetry which exists today.  Tamor Nameh,  his best major work is an historical epic giving the account of Timour's life, combats, braveries, conquests, and the destruction and bloodshed he brought about.  Modelled after Sharaf- al Din Ali Yasdi's Zafar Nameh, Hatefi composed Tamor Nameh and according to his own admission and as far as the comparison of the texts are concerned, he had remained  quite true to Zafar Nameh and except for certain poetic devices indespensible to verse, he had not added anything to the text but at times eliminated few minor parts. Hatefi in composition of this epic work emulated Ferdowsi's Shahnameh on one hand and Nezami's Eskandar Nameh on the other hand.  Eloquent techniques utilized in Tamor Nameh were mostly inspired by Shahnameh whereas the general structure of the work was inspired by Nezami.  Besides its literary merit, Tamor Nameh is worthy of attention in terms of history since it is a reliable source for Timour's biography and conquests.
