  It is obvious that Goethe, the celebrated German poet, has been inspired by Hafiz, and so for numerous articles have been published in this regard. Here the significant point to deal with is the influence of other great Persian poets on Goethe. Adam Olearius, an envoy of Schleswig-Holstein's court to Safavid court in Estefan, translated Golistan of Sa'di more than a century before Hammer Purgstall's translation of Diwan of Hafiz. Olearius' translation influenced not only Goethe but also many other German poets and authors. Such impressions have sometime, like Hafiz's lyric poems, influenced the poetic imagery of Goethe, and sometime a German poet uses Sa'di's writings exactly. The aim of the present article is to remind some of the characteristics used in Goethe's works as well as significance of German translation of Sa'di's Golistan. Manuscript profile

  The present article entitled “A Comparative Study of Complex Transitive Verbs”, aims at identifying the similarities and differences among complex transitive verbs with regard to the views of the composers of Persian classic and modern grammar. In this study, we have tried a descriptive analysis of complex verbs in Sadie’s Golistan based on seven different versions of Persian language grammar by Khayampour, Khanlari, Farshivard, Arjang, Anvari-Givi, VahidianKamyar, and Omrani-Sabti. Having done that, we concluded that there are striking similarities and, at the same time, differences in identifying complex transitive verbs between the old and modern composers of Persian language grammar. Accordingly, a large number of the verbs in Golistan, which had been considered complex by old grammarians, are now to be deemed simple based on modern grammatical precepts. In order to clarify such discrepancies, we have quoted a significant number of cases as examples. Manuscript profile

  ایران مهد ادب و فرهنگ و سجایای اخلاقی است. توجه به لزوم اخلاق از دیرباز مورد عنایت فرزانگان بوده است. در این میان شاعرانی بودند که علاوه بر تکیه به نکات اخلاقی و اجتماعی،  به عنوان یک جامعه­شناس به اجتماع اطراف خود نگاه می­کردند. سعدی یکی از آن دسته شاعرانی است که در این حیطه گوی سبقت را از هم طرازان خود ربوده است. او همچون جامعه شناسی آگاه به ریشه­یابی آسیب­های اجتماعی می­پردازد و آموزه­های دینی و اخلاقی خود را به زبانی ساده برای اقشار مختلف مردم به خصوص جوانان بیان می­کند. گلستان سعدی دایره المعارفی از نظریه‌های جامعه‌شناسی است. این کتاب، سال ها در مکتب‌خانه‌ها تدریس می‌شد، تا در دو وجه عبرت و نزهت مدِّ نظر جوانان باشد. از آنجا که در دو باب آخر این شاهکار ادبی به بیش از نود مورد مسائل اخلاقی، اجتماعی، انسانی و تربیتی اشاره شده است، سعی شده است تا در این مختصر به برخی از آن نکات اشاره و با دو سه نظریه‌ی جدید جامعه شناسی معاصر قیاس شود.
