        . Timely and reliable service requires the establishment of these stations is in place that can help without facing any obstacles to urban services and safety act. The purpose of this study is to analyze the current situation of safety and rescue services in the city of Rasht, and offer optimal locations of fire stations in the city of Rasht in order to meet the needs and safety of service deficiencies. The research was descriptive - analytical data required from official documents, surveys and local data.The population of the geographic area of the city of Rasht and according to the official census in 1390, has a population of over 639, 951 people and the number and distribution of fire stations are faced with problems.The results showed that first, the safety of existing fire stations, is not able to cover all areas of Rasht. Then, the factors of population, distance from the fire station, away from the main streets, bare land, far from the centers of fire and emergency locating base stations have been effective in the analysis of the status quo. Finally, based on weighted criteria using GIS, identified three priority areas for the constructionoffirestations. Manuscript profile

        The existence of cities is generally mixed with the service and provision of services to residents within the legal boundaries of the cities. And fire stations as places to deploy and expected firefighters and rescue vehicles, One of the most important centres of urban services, Choosing the best location with space perspective is essential to creating these centres. The aim of this study was to analyze the spatial status of existing stations in Isfahan and optimize the location of fire centres in Isfahan metropolis. The research method is descriptive-analytical. In the first step, a set of effective factors on the location of fire stations has been identified and developed using the rules of locating the firefighting stations of the Institute of Standard and Industrial Research of Iran and other reliable studies. In this research, the fuzzy network analysis method was used to determine the weight of each criterion and sub-criteria The results of this study indicate that ten firefighting stations in Isfahan have been constructed in inappropriate places. And in areas of eight and ten cities in Isfahan, it is necessary to build new fire stations. Manuscript profile

All of these measures in the next stage to be produced in GIS spatial layers and then use Delphi 8 benchmark in terms of expertise and the combined weight of all layers of the information specified and according to the weight gained Tlfyqshdh each layer and a map of each of 8 It is final. Therefore, in order to maximize the coverage of these stations to population centers, proper locating of these fire stations seems necessary. On the other hand, locating of fire stations and allocating population to them is a combinatorial optimization problem. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to integrate geographic information system and a meta-heuristic algorithm based on ant colony algorithm for optimal site selection of fire stations. For this purpose, a case study was carried out in five regions of Tehran. In this study, suitable areas were firstly identified by analytical hierarchical process method which is a common multi-criteria decision making method. For this purpose, access to the main transportation routes, proximity to compatible land uses, and staying away from incompatible land uses were considered as criteria. Furthermore, the coverage of the existing stations was also considered in the final map. Then the suitable stations were selected from the prone options by the proposed ant colony algorithm. In order to select these stations, parameters include incorporating proper distance among fire stations and maximizing the population that can be served by these fire stations in the standard time, were considered. The computational results reveal that the proposed algorithm can obtain high quality solutions to such problems in a short time. The results of this paper also reveal the efficiency of this method in the optimal locating of fire stations. Manuscript profile

        The optimal distribution and positioning of fire stations is of vital significance due to the increasing magnitude and consideration given to the issue of safety in cities and providing arrangements with the aim of hampering and preventing variant incidents. Therefore, the main aim of undertaking such a research is to assess and present an optimal model for positioning with the aim of establishing fire stations across the town of Kermanshah through the agency of GIS. This is an application-oriented kind of research being undertaken through descriptive-analytical methods. Given the state of the town of Kermanshah, such criteria as population density, being in the vicinity of street networks, the radius of coverage given by fire stations, the usage of compatible and incompatible lands have been utilized in the form of a model integrating AHP and GIS together. The results of the research demonstrate that a major portion of the town of Kermanshah lies beyond the operational scope of fire stations, in such a way that 33.54% of the population of the town of Kermanshah are deprived of a suitable coverage provided by fire stations. The outcome of applying the integrated model of ArcGIS and AHP with the aim of identifying appropriate sites for establishing fire stations throughout the town of Kermanshah manifests the fact that firstly, considering the five criteria being used in this research, this model has well been capable of prioritizing the scope under study in terms of the need for establishing fire stations and secondly, the regions which hold the first priority in positioning are based around the town of Kermanshah, especially in eastern and northeastern parts.
