With the arrival of modernism in the cities of Iran and in parallel with the development process of globalization, commercial spaces have found a new structure and replaced the commercial space in the form of malls (large-scale shopping centers). Also, the behavior of space users according to the changing role of A city has been transformed and consumption behavior is considered as one of the behaviors of society. so; Identifying the components of the formation of urban spaces in large-scale shopping centers with an emphasis on the consumption behavior of the contemporary era is the main goal of this article. The nature of the topic and research objectives, the ruling approach of this research is "descriptive-explanatory" and "fundamental". The research method is qualitative. According to data collection, a survey method has been used, and interviews have been used as the main tool for data collection. The statistical population includes all users of the space in Ekbatan Megamall, Tehran. According to the theoretical saturation level, the sample size was 30 people in the form of focus groups of 5-6 people randomly. The results of the research indicate that the difference in behavior compared to the past and also compared to the styles of behavior in other traditional markets was considered as another characteristic of megamalls and malls, so that the effects of the malls' space on the nature and quality of the movements and gestures of young people can be seen. And it is a space that encourages consumption and reproduces and organizes this kind of exercise of power within wanderings and unwritten rules by means of the mass volume of showcases, commercial advertisements.Extended AbstractIntroduction:Today, urban spaces have undergone changes due to the change in the lifestyle of citizens on the one hand and the introduction of modernity into urban planning on the other hand, and this is the case that knowing the values, abilities and potentials of contemporary urban spaces can lead to the development and improvement of economic conditions., social, cultural and physical of the city and citizens. Also, New approaches to shopping and consumption as a form of leisure have caused new structures of commercial, service-entertainment spaces in the world, one of which is large-scale commercial centers (megamalls). On the other hand, with the arrival of modernism in the cities of Iran and in parallel with the development process of globalization, the commercial spaces have been extended from the market to the street and gradually transformed into arcades next to the commercial streets, and then hypermarkets with greater concentration and variety. In order to attract different groups of people, they came to work and now this transformation has found a new structure and replaced the commercial space in the form of goods. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to explain the effects of contemporary consumption behavior in the formation of urban spaces in large-scale shopping centers, and in this regard, the main question of the research is as follows: "What are the effects of contemporary consumption behavior in the formation of urban spaces in large-scale shopping centers?"Methodology:The present research, in terms of method, is "descriptive-explanatory”. The research method is qualitative. According to data collection, survey and interview methods have been used as the main tools. The statistical population includes all the users of the space in Megamall, Ekbatan, Tehran. For the purpose of interviews, for the qualitative analysis of the data, the random sampling method was used, and the sample size was 30 people according to the theoretical saturation level in the form of focus groups. 5-6 people have been selected. The analysis has been done based on Carspecken analysis in the following stages: compilation and initial registration of data; analysis and preliminary restorative analysis of data; Dialogue-oriented data production: description of structural relationships; description and explanation of structural relationships obtained from the findings. Results and discussion:Qualitative findings showed that Ekbatan Megamall, as one of the modern commercial spaces, has provided a platform for space users whose age range is 18-35 years, where "showing themselves" and "roaming" are among their obvious goals. The existence of malls and megamalls in cities leads to It has created a new kind of cultural, social and economic experience of the space, which will also cause the development of the consumerism pattern. Also, Megamall Ekbatan commercial complex as a case study in this thesis can be referred to as a consumption space in which the lifestyle, the desires, thoughts and ideals of different space users are idols of traditional commercial spaces and even arcades and can define a new identity of urban spaces in which the needs of users and their presence are different from other spaces. The production of commercial consumption spaces based on the new needs of users, emphasizing the large-scale commercial complex of Ekbatan, is described as follows: this commercial space is a space not for production but for consumption, and as a modern urban space where fashion is one of the characteristics Space users in a way that makes the representational space of "users' experience area or youth roaming" full of power and procedures contrary to the behavioral pattern of users in other commercial spaces, can be discussed and investigatedConclusion:Concluding remarks of this study, Malls and mega-malls provided an arena for the presence and expression of modern citizens' behaviors, which are similar to things like loitering (showing boys and girls to attract attention, walking calmly and rhythmically without a goal, spending free time), consumer images (signs encouraging consumption, bank banners). investment incentive, this is the same as happiness and bank profit, boutique window decorations), and fashionism (different clothing of users in this space, use of brand and different clothes in these spaces, desire and pretending to buy, desire to use different makeup in girls, The tendency to use different hairstyles in boys, fashionable clothes) that these factors caused the creation of contemporary urban spaces with an approach beyond economic and behavioral exchange. Soil conservation and control of erosion is a basic problem in all countries. The goal of this research is to estimate erosion and sediment yield in Ekbatan Dam drainage basin by Erosion Potential Method (EPM), using Geographic Information System (GIS). The basin is located in Hamedan Province, west of Iran, in a cold and semi- arid region, with an average annual rainfall of 334mm. The study area is about 218 km2 and is divided into 8 sub- basins. Sub- basins 1 and 6 are the largest (49.14 km2), and smallest (9.92km2), respectively. Elevation ranges between 1960 to 3580 m. The litho-units include schist, granite, hornfels, limestone, sandstone, (Pre- Jurassic to Neogene in age), conglomerate, and recent alluvium. Most sediment in the basin is generated from erosion of schist. The main factors in the EPM (slope average percent, erosion, rock and soil erosion and land- use) were evaluated using GIS software. Data layers used in this study were created from topographic, homorain, homotemp, geology, lithology maps, landsat TM digital images, and field observations. According to calculated results, the coefficient of erosion and sediment yield (z) for this basin fall into moderate and heavy erosion classes. For avoiding soil erosion in this basin, therefore, soil conservation operations should be performed. Manuscript profile

Enclosed communities, which are also known as gated residential development, gated residential apartment, and settlement, are expanding and have become very popular among home buyers. Enclosed communities have limited public access and privatized public space with the aim of creating security and peace for their residents, and this enclosure has led to the creation of disjointed spaces that are separated and isolated from their outer urban environment. In fact, enclosed neighborhoods are a reflection of an urban unit that is physically, socially, and economically different from its surroundings and lacks cohesion. Examining the negative effects of these communities enclosed within themselves and the surrounding urban areas is a very important issue that has not been addressed much, and land traders and developers have expanded them without paying attention to it and trying to make more profit. Therefore, in this research, it has been tried to identify these factors from the point of view of experts and space users, with the aim of investigating the degree of confinement in the neighborhood cohesion of the residents of Ekbatan and Ati Saz. The research method is a combination of qualitative and quantitative type. This research has a nest to nest combination. To answer the research question, qualitative-quantitative research method nest by nest is used. In the qualitative method, a semi-structured interview is used to verify the variables extracted from the bases and also to assign the base variables to a case sample, and the obtained results are entered into the ATLAS.TI software to facilitate the coding, and open coding is used to extract the variables with a live approach. , description and interpretation takes place. In a small part of the obtained variables, a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale (1: the lowest level of perception of the individual about the effect of confinement on neighborhood cohesion; 5: the highest level of perception of the individual about the effect of confinement on neighborhood cohesion) is compiled and distributed among 384 people of space users. In this section, by using the factor analysis method, due to the multiplicity of variables for classification and also the effect of each of them in the residential complex of Ati Saz and Ekbatan, factor analysis with the Varimax method is used, and finally, the correlation of the determined coefficients in both Ekbatan and Ati Saz neighborhoods with Each other is taken and a fitting curve is drawn. The results of the research show that Ekbatan and Atisaz neighborhoods are considered as one of the prosperous and active communities in Tehran. Also, because of their convenient location, they have been favored by the residents of Tehran. According to the investigations carried out in this research, in both neighborhoods, the factor of social cohesion is considered the most effective factor in the cohesion of the residents of both neighborhoods. The reason for this is that the enclosure and separation of Akbatan and Atysaz neighborhoods from the surrounding neighborhoods, both physically and socially, has caused problems such as social-cultural discontinuity in this area, which has consequences such as the fragmentation of the social fabric. The isolation and insularity of these two neighborhoods has caused the administration of this area to face problems and social participation in urban governance is decreasing. One of the most important problems caused by the lack of communication and connection between Ekbatan and Ati-saz neighborhoods with the surrounding neighborhoods is social disunity and segregation in this area, which, if appropriate decisions are not taken and the need for social cohesion of the area is not taken into account, can cause many problems in the future. The lack of communication and physical connection has also caused a gap in the body tissue and its lack of harmony with the surrounding environment. In addition to the mentioned issues, these neighborhoods also struggle with the issue of access and inefficient public transportation, and this has caused major changes in the process of citizens living in these neighborhoods. Also, the most important factor affecting the cohesion of these two enclosed neighborhoods is social cohesion. After that, the following factors can be mentioned in order: Coherence in social communication, cohesion in the sense of belonging, cohesion in creating security, cohesion in governing organizations and cohesion in authority. A variety of effects and functions have been enumerated for urban green and natural spaces, one of which is to increase the interaction of residents and neighbors. This issue is so important that today attention to the nature and green spaces of the city as well as the implementation of policies which release the people of the cities from problems such as isolation and cause residents to relate to each other, are of the most important tasks of the urban institutions and this is an important indicator for improving the life quality and community development. In this research, two residential complexes of Ekbatan in Tehran and Pardisan in Qom have been selected as the case study and the purpose of this study is to evaluate the role of nature on neighborhood relations in these two residential complexes. The method is descriptive – analytical and the results of the study showed that concerning the neighborhood relations, Ekbatan Residential Complex score was 3.08 and the score of Pardisan Residential Complex was 2.66. Also, in evaluating the satisfaction of nature and green spaces, Ekbatan and Pardisan scores were 3.81 and 2.61 respectively. In this survey, regarding the relationship between the two variables of nature with neighboring interactions, the Pearson Correlation test results showed a positive and significant correlation between these two variables, so that the overall coefficiency estimate was 0.669. This value was found in Ekbatan to be 0.684 and in Pardisan 0.516, which indicates a stronger relationship between these two variables in Ekbatan Residential Complex. Finally, in assessing the impact of nature and green spaces on neighborhood interactions in residential complexes, the coefficient of determination for Ekbatan and Pardisan were 0.384 and 0.717 respectively. Totally, the findings obtained from the results of 383 questionnaires were used to determine the coefficient of error with a 0.000 error value of 0.627, which confirmed the positive effects of nature and green spaces on neighborhoods and interactions.   Keywords: n Manuscript profile

Today Transportation is known as a one of the most important elements of urban development structur. Public Transportation, according to its more extensive functional capacity, can play a role in a wider scale. Transit Oriented Development with a focus on subway is one of the special approaches in this field. Recently, Tehran Public Transport Fleet has been significantly improved especially in the field of subway and BRT. Although Tehran has the potential, not only it could not benefited from the advantages of this development, but also has imposed many social and traffic problems of around of stationary complex. These are because of lack of implementation principle of TOD and the proper functioning of them. Shahrak-E Ekbatan complex is a Newly established which located on Tehran subway line 4. Since construction of the station in the standard form requires certain predetermined principles, Shahrak-E Ekbatan Complex Station with its special location in Public Transportation System is expected that it plays role in implementation these principles to achieve an efficient station complex. TOD is a novelty and different approach of traditional theory, with considering four main principles which is consisted of (1) Intensive development, (2) mixed land uses, (3) pedestrian-oriented, (4) Transportation facilities. TOD tries to solve the problems which are occurred due to inattention to the four foregoing principles. In this study, the functional principles of Transit Oriented Development in the Shahrak-E Ekbatan Complex Station are assessed with use of library and archives of the context the Field oriented descriptive and AHP. Consequently achievement to TOD goals and effective utilization of the complex station are restricted. As a main result the Shahrak-E Ekbatan Complex Station with the implementation rate of three forth of the functional principles is in desirable condition. Manuscript profile
