The objective of this reseach was to stude the effectiveness of supervision and direction on educational progress of students at the guidance school second grade in English language in the Izeh township. Considering the two theories (effectiveness of supervision and direction on educational progress of students and its identical effect on educational progress of girls and boys) via the semiexperinental procedure, throngh selecting 8 specimen groups including 4 classes in the experimental sciences and 4 controls, during a period of 3 monthsusing the supervision and direction cycles at the 3 programming stages and exdiamge of views with the experimental group, prior to observation of classes, feedback and post-observation exchange of views was performed. Research tool was composed of two teste, one as pre-test and the other on as post test (a priori 8 a posterior tests) uning uniform questions set forth for soth groups. To analyse the obtained results, the descriptive and statistical inference and spss software were employed. Results of study showed that instructional supervision and guidance is highly and equally effective on educational progress 3 of male and female students in English Language course at the guidance school graced. Instructional supervision and direction is necessary for all teachers at varions educational courses and regarding the results obtained of this research, at present supervision and instructional guidance in the guidance school should be considered by the authorities as deficiency and a problem in the education system. And to implement it in the best way possible, precise and fouadamental planning should ye done based on the propounded proposals.

The present research has been done to compare educational progress of border and ordinary students. The research method is descriptive that is a kind of comparative study. Statistical society include all of the male and female border and ordinary students of grade one of elementary in Sari. By the use of Kerjeci & Morgan tables, 175 persons have been selected as a statistical sample. Sampling method is a classical random method. Information collection tools are documental and library. Research data has been analyzed by descriptive and deductive statistics method, T-test and Load test. Research findings show that there is a meaningful difference between educational progress of border and ordinary students.

The aim of this research was study of relationship between personality features and study methods with educational progress in students in allameh Tababtabai University. Method: method in this study was survey- descriptive and correlation. In this research a total of 110 students were chosen by cluster sampling. This sample were examined by personality five- factor questionnaire, methods and skills of study questionnaire and use of terms end average for evaluation of educational progress. Results: the outcomes of the pearsonian correlation showed that the relationship between educational progress with neurotic personality and surface study method is negative, with extroversion, agreeableness, conscientious personality, and deep seated study method is positive. And relationship between educational progress with openness to experience no significant. The outcomes of the multivariate regression show that deep seated and surface study method and neurotic, conscientious, extroversion personality can predict the educational progress. Conclusion: the students who have extroversion, agreeableness or conscientious personality type and uses of deep seated study method have more educational progress.

The present article has been conducted to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and social skills with the educational progress of the second- grade high school students. This research is of corrlation one, thus database was drawn from 385 male and female students, randomly, who were studing at the second grade in Tabriz, 2009-2010. The data was collected from two standardized question naires: emotional intelligence questionnaire constructed by shut et al (1998) and social skills measure of Watson (1983). The educational progresses of the students were calculated by their average scores. The data was put into analysis by Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Linear Regression. The obtained results revealed that there was a direct meaningful correlation between the emotional intelligence and educational progress; however there was no meaningful correlation between social skills and educational progress. Ultimately, the results of Regression analysis revealed that in order to define the shares of emotional intelligence and social skills in predicting the educational progress, emotional intelligence has the utmost impact on the educational progress of the students.

The present study was performed with the aim of identification (Effective Parameters to Improve the Quality of Educational Progress Evaluation View point Teachers and Managers of Men in Third Grade City Yazd High school in Educational Year 2009-2010).In this direction, this study focused on the role of organizational, mental and physical and the design of test questions parameters in Improve the Quality of Educational Progress Evaluation View point Teachers and Managers of Men in Third Grade City Yazd Highschool in Educational Year 2009-2010 of whom,22 Managers and 150 teachers were randomly selected. Research method was descriptive-surveying and research tool was questionnaire provided by researcher with 46 closed questions. Questionnaire simplicity was apparently evaluated and its validity was estimated to 93% by kronbakh α coefficient for Managers and teachers. Data of research was analyzed by descriptive and perceptive. On the basis of research data, it became clear that the effect of organizational, mental and physical parameters and design of test questions parameters on improving the quality of educational progress evaluation was more than average.Managers and teachers sample referred the most effect to mental parameters with average 3.94 and the lowest effect to organizational agents with average 3.60. The differences were significant about parameters like design of test questions in terms of responders positions(Managers,teacher) and physical parameters in terms of area (one and two) and effect of these factors in improving quality of educational progress evaluation and no significant difference was seen about other parameters in terms of position, area, education and record of service.

هدف این پژوهش بررسی رابطهی بین مهارتهای فراشناخت و این پژوهش بر پیشرفت تحصیلی دانشجویان میباشد. روش پژوهش توصیفی از نوع همبستگی است. جامعهی آماری کلیهی دانشجویان دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی واحد ساری که به تعداد 9543 نفر میباشند که با توجه به جدول کرجسی و مورگان 363 نفر به عنوان نمونه آماری به روش تصادفی طبقهای انتخاب شدند روایی پرسشنامه راهبردهای فراشناخت با نظر متخصصان تأیید شد و پایایی آن بر اساس ضریب آلفای کرونباخ 87/0 به دست آمد.برای پیشرفت تحصیلی معدل کل دانشجو در نظر گرفتهشد. برای تجزیه و تحلیل دادهها از روشهای آمار توصیفی و استنباطی آزمون همبستگی پیرسون و رگرسیون با نرم افزار spss انجام شد. نتیجه اینکه بین استفاده از راهبردهای فراشناختی و هریک از مؤلفههای آن (دانش و کنترل خود، دانش و کنترل فرآیند-برنامه ریزی، دانش و کنترل فرآیند-ارزشیابی، دانش و کنترل فرآیند-نظم دهی) با پیشرفت تحصیلی (معدل کل) رابطه ی معنادار وجود دارد و استفاده از هر یک از این راهبردها موجب افزایش عملکرد تحصیلی می شود.

The present study aims to investigate the effecs of multimedia design education based on the principles of cognitive theory on learning, remembering and educational progress motivation of grade-five female students at math. the study was pseudo-educational and pretests and posttests administered to the control group. The population of the study includes allfemale students at grade five across the city of Ahvaz. The sampling of the study was done according to multi-level cluster sampling from Ahvaz, area4. Among the schools of this region, Bahar School with 325 students was chosen. Fromthe five grades in school only grade five students were taken into account.At this grade two classes named A and B, each with 30 students were available. Due to lack of cooperation of the teacher in classB, onlythe classA was considered.Next, thestudents were devided into two groups:control and experimental group(15 students each).Data collection instruments include two learning and remembering tests devised by the author and Keller's educational progress questionnaire (1993).In order to analyze the data covariance analysis tests were used. The results of the study showed that educational multimedia design based on principles of cognitive theory has an effect on learning,remembering and educational progress motivation of female students at grade five.

This research was aimed at investigating the effectiveness of multimedia software use in sociology course on educational progress, learning, and retention of the students. The method of this research was quasi-experimental one using post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the research included all the second grade high school girl students (humanity major) in Juybar in 2010-11 academic year. Of them, two classes, namely 40 students were selected as statistical sample, 20 as experimental group and 20 as control group. The experimental group was taught using educational software and the control group was taught through traditional teaching methods (without using multimedia). To gather data, teacher-made questions, including post-test were used. Validity of the teacher-made test was confirmed by experts several times and reliability of the test was calculated about 0/87 using Cronbach Alpha. Collected data were described using descriptive statistics indexes such as mean and standard deviation and to make the findings generalizable, inferential statistics (independent t and dependent t) was used. Findings showed that teaching through multimedia software could affect the students’ achievements. Although teaching trough multimedia software is more effective than traditional methods to improve the learning process, no significant difference was detected. Besides, teaching with the use of multimedia software method had greater impact on the students’ retention compared to the traditional method of teaching.
