  The present study seeks to determine the appropriate criteria to select a business partner in the chain of parts suppliers. Business cooperation among the companies in the supply of parts reduces costs, creates competitive advantage and increases the competitive capacity and ultimately increases their profitability. In fact, by building business cooperation in the supply chain of materials and parts, and preventing the selection of improper suppliers in various projects, we can the time and cost of projects. Choosing the right partner is an important step in building business cooperation. In this paper, by drawing on the views of senior managers and experts and by using the data obtained from the questionnaire, we have examined the appropriate criteria to select a business partner and designed a model for business partner selection. The research type is descriptive-survey, and the statistical population consists of the managers and specialists of the Iranian Marine Industries company. Finally, by analyzing the data collected from the population, we have specified the importance, priorities, and weights of these criteria. Manuscript profile
