In this research, the hero and heroic discourse in the genre of the incident is examined. In the present study, three levels of analysis have been selected to examine the cinematic samples to go beyond the level of descriptive character and to enter into the analysis of the discourse of texts. The purpose of this study is to examine the way in which insider representations are opposite. The hero's image alone has not been the subject of research, and is considered to be part of the anti-hero. In the first level, the methodology of the "Selvi and Kadyrie" model is used to examine the implicit and obvious meanings of the sequences, in the second level, Bart's narrative pattern is used to describe the semiotic. Subsequently, using the method of critical discourse analysis, Vendike's analysis of the heroic and anti-heroic discourse of the text has been analyzed. The findings of this research determine and characterize the type of personality, role in the plot, polarization and verbal literature and the levels of hermeneutics of meaning in the films. By observing and analyzing the films, what has been seen in the face of the other in all texts is "good modeling for itself" and "creating disadvantages for another". Manuscript profile

In Persian literature, the word hero is mostly used in its classical sense in epic stories, and the anti-hero is used as the opposite of the main character of the story. And it is the encounter of opposing characters that shapes the narrative. Wolfgang Iser,,a German theorician who developed a theory for reading literary texts in the second half of the twentieth century, took a special look at the action of characters and intra-textual elements in the narrative. By shifting the focus of literary studies from author to reader, he turned to the methods of reading the text and believed that with a different reading of the literary work, the elements within the text would also change. In this descriptive and analytical method, we deal with the features of characters, anti-hero and heroism in the play "Death of Yazdgerd" by Bahram Beizai. Our aim in this study is to look as a perspective of the reader-centered Iser which character considers the hero and which the anti-hero. The results of this study show that the protagonist and the anti-hero paid for the ellipse do not necessarily follow the author's beliefs from the reader's point of view, and all the characters in the work can be of heroism or anti-heroism. Epic texts are dispensable parts of Persian literature whose main masterpiece is Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh. After Shahnameh, composing epic became popular and following its imitation in different eras, variety of religious and historical epics were composed, however in their compositions political, cultural and social changes in the country were greatly influential and in accordance with those changes the theme, standpoint, features and purposes of the epic characters had also changed.  This research is an attempt to study the anti-hero modifications and to find its similarities and differences in national, religious, and historical epics of Banu Goshasb nameh and Faramarz nameh, Ali nameh, and Khavaran nameh, Tamar nameh, Jang nameh Keshm and Jarun nameh respectively. Library and descriptive analytic method were used in this regard.  The results obtained show that religious and historical epics are based upon national epic however in fundamental opposition between good and evil and in correlation with the protagonist’s aim in the tale and the theme of the tale were subject to certain changes.  The common factor in three kinds of epic is the presence of a humane anti-hero who fights with demonic, inauthentic, and vulgar characteristics but this anti-hero in religious and historical epic influenced by hero’s motivation and the historical narrative, in pursuing purposes such as struggle, action, anti-hero characteristics and finally his final destiny underwent a change.
