Knowing the meaning of life is one of the most important challenges of thinkers. Getting rid of emptiness and giving meaning and motivation to life has been one of the most obvious topics in psychology. Scientists of different eras have spared no effort to find a suitable answer to the meaning of life. In this research, we have tried to study the meaning of life from the perspective of the great mystic Rumi and the Western thinker and psychologist, Yalom, and to express the commonalities and differences of their views. The present study has been done by descriptive-analytical method and inductive method based on the propositions of existential psychology and in particular the views of Yalom and Rumi's poems. Rumi believes that if a person knows his spiritual dimension better, it will give meaning and meaning to his life; God plays a pivotal role in his life. But existentialist psychologists Yalom believe that the world is random and has no meaning. There is no policy other than what one creates. Yalom and Maulana agree on some components, such as the freedom of death that makes life meaningful, despite the obvious differences in views. The results show that the meaning of life in Rumi's Masnavi according to Yalom depends on observing principles such as moral responsibility which have been invented by man himself. Rumi believes that returning to the original along with other components is a factor in getting rid of emptiness, but Yalom does not believe in these aspects. Manuscript profile

Love is one of the most important and fundamental mystical topics that is prominently raised in Islamic mysticism and in the works and thought of Rumi; In the way that in Masnavi, love is one of the ways to reach God's connection and perish in His essence and survive in Him. In Rumi's mystical thought, the ultimate goal of love is the unity of the lover and the beloved; But in Yalom's opinion, love is one of the meaningful components of life. He acknowledges the power of love in transforming a person and giving meaning to life. Although he likened love to religious ecstasies; But due to not believing in the supernatural and not paying attention to spiritual matters among the types of love, he has only paid attention to earthly love. Among the types of earthly love, his attention is mostly focused on carnal and somehow moral love. This research aims to investigate the components of love in the thought of Rumi and Yalom in a descriptive-comparative way. The result of the research shows that Yalom believes that love should be mature and developed and believes that love brings with it responsibility and the person in love should be responsible for the physical and psychological needs of the beloved and for his/her uniqueness, be valued Like Yalom, Rumi believes that love gives meaning and warmth to life, and also that love brings responsibility; In such a way that his alignment with Yalom in this theory is clearly visible in his poems. 4 - the intellectual approaches of Rumi and Arvinialum to the category of fear

Rumi's special skill is psychology and human cognition, and the concern of anthropology and helping to alleviate the existential and cognitive pains and fears of man is one of his special intellectual characteristics, so that man does not fall into self-ignorance and the sufferings and fears caused by it. Rumi's solutions to fear in Masnavi are unique, and today's psychology, which provides mechanisms for understanding the nodes of human existence, is comparable in some respects - albeit with a different approach or goals to Rumi. By studying the works of existentialist or humanistic psychologists, it seems that Soren Kirkgour, Rolumi, Abraham Maslow, Eric Fromm, Victor Frankel, Arvinialum, etc. are more efficient than others in this field of research. Due to the limitations of the research, we chose Arvinialum, who has valuable ideas to say on the subject under discussion. Because Rumi's view of issues is often existential and the frightening existential concerns common between Rumi and Arvinialum are: the grief of homelessness and existential loneliness, fear of death, fear of freedom and authority. Therefore, we examine the commonalities between the two (Rumi and Yalom) despite the differences in insight and approach. For example, Rumi's intellectual solutions to get rid of fear, such as story therapy, familiarity with the wisdom and blessings of grief and initial descent, the fear of authority and the wisdom contained in it, and the meaning of life have been compared with Yalom's intellectual approaches. 5 - Investigating the anthropological foundations of the meaning of loneliness according to Simin Behbahani and Ervin Yalom

Existentialism is a fledgling philosophy that emerged from the end of the 19th century, and it is the cornerstone of this school's meaning therapy. Loneliness is one of Yalom's anthropological foundations regarding the meaning of life. Loneliness is one of the themes that humans have faced throughout history and it is a meaning and concept in various fields such as mysticism and Sufism, psychology, philosophy and love. According to Yalom, the four anxieties of freedom, loneliness, death and meaninglessness are rooted in the truth of human existence. Yalom believes that in order to get rid of these four concerns, a person must create meaning and realize the truth of life, which is actually serving creation, creation and self-fulfillment. Also, in Simin's poetry, loneliness is one of the colorful manifestations that dominates the atmosphere of his sonnets. In their works and writings, both Simin and Yalom believe in fundamental loneliness and tried to solve this kind of loneliness and each of them presented specific solutions. In this research, the author aims to investigate and compare the anthropological foundations of the meaning of loneliness in the opinion of Simin Behbahani and Ervin Yalom, using descriptive-analytical method and library tools, and answer the question whether the theme of loneliness in Simin's poetry is the same as the fundamental loneliness of Yalom? And what is the solution for these two to solve loneliness and get rid of anxiety and worry in life? Manuscript profile
