Background and Objective: The presence of hermit crabs in aquatic species and coastal bird’s food chain and their significant role in environmental remediation highlight the importance of studying these species as biological indicators. Hence, this study assessed the concentration of Lead and Cadmium in sediments of and hard tissue of hermit crabs in KISH Island and compared the results against international standards. Methods: To determine the concentration of Lead and Cadmium, 30 sediment samples and 60 crabs were randomly collected from the south and southeast of KISH Island. By preparation and analysis of specimens, the concentration of heavy metals was determined using atomic absorption spectrophotometer.  Findings: The mean concentration of lead and cadmium in the sediments of the south and southeast coasts of Kish Island were 63.20 and 2.94 mg/kg, respectively, both of which are higher than the sediment quality standards of Canada and NOAA. The mean concentration of lead and cadmium in the hard tissue of Coenobita scaevola were 20.92 and 2.09 mg/kg, respectively, which is much higher than the average obtained in similar studies on Persian Gulf aquatic animals. Discussion and Conclusion: The mean concentration of lead and cadmium in the hard tissue of Coenobita Scaevola is much higher than the similar studies on Persian Gulf aquatics. The interaction of lead and cadmium in disrupting growth physiology has been proven. Cadmium has a negative effect on nutrition, growth, survival, and reproductive activities of Coenobita Scaevola. Love is one of the most frequent and popular categories in the field of human interests and feelings especially in the realm of human's written language. Everyone composes love by his assumption by his own emotions.  Although love is viewed from two true and virtual perspectives and virtual love is seen only in the worldly love, sometimes true love is manifested in the body of the worldly lover such as love of child to mother or vice versa. Virtual love is not limited to worldly and beautiful beloved but extends to deeper issues such as loving freedom, homeland, children and so on. Nizar Qabbani's and Monzavi were stylistic romantic poets who could link classical literature to contemporary one. Both poets seek to create a new language for expressing love and consider love sacred. Nizar Qabbani's viewpoint of women is closely related to politics, homeland and freedom and tries to raise women's humanistic values. The woman does not have a specific evidence in his poetries and he means the general Arab women, but in the Monzavi poetries a specific woman is mentioned. Both know Mother as the spirit of their poems and have composed beautiful poems describing mothers, fathers, spouses and children. Sadness has special status in Salah Abdel Sabour and Hossein Monzavi’s poetry. In spite of the similarities between two poets’ view about sadness, the differences cannot be ignored. One of the most important differences is that the personal reasons are more than the social ones for being sorrowful. In Monzai’s poetry a kind of pessimism can be seen because of the sadness but not in Abdel Sabour’s ones. This means that the social factors are more notable. The present article studies different types of sadness – personal and political – in two poets’ poetry and the method is comparative. Manuscript profile

Death as an absolute necessity, bound to happen, is unique and belongs to human beings. Whatever we know of death is assured, or at least seems to be the most absolute knowledge of us as human beings. It is an inescapable reality that all creatures will experience it later or sooner. The humankind worldview of death is based on his attitudes towards life. Some people believe that it is attractive and fascinating, while others find it horrible and disgusting. It is clear that the way people try to believe in death has roots in their lifestyles and attitudes towards life. Hossein Monzavi, aka “The King of Ghazal”, the famous poet of 1960s and 1970s, could revive ghazal and made it enthralling and romantic. Some of Monzavi’s ghazals are about death, and he attempts to reveal his attitudes towards the concept of death as a bound to happen. He sometimes believes in death doubtlessly, and sometimes fights it. Despite some contradictions in some of his ghazals about death, he doesn’t believe in death as something absurd and conjectural. This paper aims, through an analytical- descriptive method and by investigating Monzavi’s ghazals, to study his worldview and understanding of death. Manuscript profile

Using allegories in poetry and utilizing them in literary texts is among the factors that boost the aesthetics of literary works and the quality of literary originality in texts. Due to the literary position and influence of Hossain Monzavi on contemporary ghazals and poets, the need to investigate his poetry seemed pressing. The present study aimed to investigate how various types of allegories were utilized in Monzavi’s ghazals, and, based on the obtained evidence, it was shown that the literary figures of speech occupied a special position in his poetry. As the nature of the figure of speech depends on previously-known texts, tales, and poems, it, consequently, does not have much space for creativity and innovation. Thus, Monzavi has just been able to be innovative on rare occasions, including the manner of conceptually utilizing the allegories. A number of articles were found on Hossain Monzavi’s poetry and thought, but no study was conducted to focus on “allegories in Monzavi’s ghazals”. The present study used a descriptive-analytical methodology to investigate the following questions: “How much did Monzavi pay attention to and utilize various types of allegories, and how much was his creativity in utilizing poetic allegories?” Manuscript profile

The present article is a comparative study of the structure of poetic images of Hossein Manzavi and Mohammad Ali Bahmani. For this purpose, first the isolated lyric poems and then the avalanche lyric poems have been studied, and after examining the lyric poems, adaptation and analysis have been done between these two contemporary lyricists. The method of work is such that the sonnets of these two poets have been studied in the field of image (image). The abnormalities and innovations of these two lyricists in each of these sections have been done according to the selected lyric poems and some of their strengths and weaknesses have also been expressed. It is worth mentioning that the lyric poems and verses mentioned by these two poets for example have been selected in such a way that they show the personal style of these two poets and can show the possible differences and similarities between the two.The aim of this study was to find linguistic deviations in Monzavi sonnets using descriptive-analytical method in the framework of structuralism and based on Leach deviation model. Accordingly, the deviations and artistic creations of the poet are often sought for simplicity in the language of poetry and its approach to common language (simple and impossible).           Lyrical literature is the oldest type of literature in which the poet displays his existential truth and expresses his personal feelings towards life and society, in such a way that social realities and society can be objectively reflected in a detailed and limited way. He saw literary works. The purpose of studying societies in poetry is to analyze the social concerns and issues of that period. Hossein Manzavi is one of the greatest ghazal writers of the present era, who is famous for his romantic ghazal; the subject of his sonnets is mostly about love, yet he has addressed social and political issues in his sonnets. The lover in the isolated sonnet has taken on a different face and this indicates the poet's different attitude towards the subject of love. Manzavi has a personal and special style in his descriptions, which distinguishes his poetry from other contemporary poets. In his lyrical compositions, different and dual themes can be seen around lyrical, social and religious topics and issues. In this research, the author is trying to analyze the social and related issues in isolated sonnets with descriptive-analytical method and library tools and to answer the question, what are the most important social issues used in isolated sonnets? The result of the research indicates that the poet was able to create a new language to express love in such a way that this distinction and duality of approach can be seen in his romantic sonnets. The contemporary period in Iran's history can be seen in all aspects as a battleground between tradition and modernity. This conflict is also clearly seen in the field of literature. Some have considered tradition as a cause of deterioration and have risen against it, and some have completely adhered to tradition and have not embraced innovation. In the meantime, there have been those who, while adhering to some components of tradition, also considered modernity and novelty as a necessity and have taken steps in this direction. Hossein Manzavi, one of the neoclassical lyricists, has such a view; He has adapted Ghazal to Nima's theories and considers himself one of Nima's "phoenix in bloom". At the same time, he calls his ghazal Hafezvar (like Hafez' poetry) and acknowledges the influence of tradition in his ghazal. This duality can be seen especially in the field of theme and content, which is the subject of the present research. This approach has caused traditional topics and themes to be seen in his poetry alongside contemporary and new topics and individual experiences; Physical love and eroticism, aesthetics different from the beloved, and realism and relying on individual experiences can be considered as aspects of his modernization in the field of theme. In the current research, the dimensions of isolated traditionalism and modernism have been investigated in the subject and theme. The result of the present research shows the integration of modernism and traditionalism in different dimensions of theme, language, and poetic images in isolated poetry. Manuscript profile

Abstract         Although the magic realism is considered a modern style in story-writing, it has one thousand years of background and has well-established in our literary works. There is no doubt that the extensive treasure of mythology that is reflected in magic-evasive content of the Shahnameh can have a great share in proving this matter. Ferdowsi is a realist who by taking advantage of this magic realistic themes has created the fables such as Haft Khan. He includes the reality of his present day in an ultra logic bed of the accidents to open a door of knowledge to his readers. We are to deal with the themes of magic realism in a descriptive-analytical method, and conclude that magic reflects a vast spectrum of ancient beliefs in the fables of the Haft Khan. At the same time it talks about the facts that is called insurgence in the hard trials of life. So, we try, by exploring the magic realistic themes, in the Haft Khan to find how this tie is taking place , what seems clear, is that the Haft khan has its roots in the seven ceremonies of Mehr. Therefore, utilizing the elements of fantasy, this epic work seems fabulous, and this specific quality focuses on its magical realism. The whole fables of the Haft Khan are the reflection of Jung's thoughts. The last point, in the process of the story, emphasizes on the political wisdom of ancient Iran in which the king is a basic column in people's lives. Manuscript profile

Shahnameh the grand work of Abolghasem Ferdowsi has always been regarded as a document of identity and ethnicity of Iraninan People.  Ever since the compostion of Shahnameh most poets and writers of Persian literature while acknowledging its uniqueness as the most important source of Persian epic and mythological stories, looked into shahnameh for epic themes and allusive overtones and in this respect have drawn amply from this great reference. Since Shahnameh is a national epic it is customary to expect that it influences the literature after it mostly in the same domain of epic, yet the interesting point is that the reflection and presence of this work in sonnet form is quite vast and astonishing.  This research studies the sonnets of Hossein Monzavi, one of the most prominent contemporary sonnet composers only to find that because of deep connection with Persian culture and civilization, and also the power of its composer to create such a literary masterpiece Shahnameh even in its lyricism could exert a lasting impact on all fields of Persian poetry.
