The aim of this research is evaluation of different feeding frequency on growth parameters and survival rate of fingerling Cyprinus carpio fishes during 8 weeks. In this research 240 individual fishes with initial weight range of 8.85-9.26(gr) in 4 different treatments and 3 replicate such as T1 (once a day at 10h), T 2 (twice a day at 8 and 16 h), T 3 (thrice a day at 8, 12 and 16 h) and T 4 (four times a day at 8, 12, 16 and 20 h) were tested. Feeding rate was done according to 5 percent of body weight in a day. Results showed that, there are significant differences in increase of final fish body weight and final body length between different treatments (P<0.05). Although, highest body weight and body length increase in T 3 (thrice a day) was observed. Also, there were significant differences in different parameters such as FCR, SGR, BWI, PBWI, FI, CF, GR and production parameters between different treatments (P<0.05). However, there was no significant differences in survival rate of different treatments observed (P>0.05). Finally, 3 times feeding frequency in a day (T 3) according to growth performance of different treatments for common carp fingerling fish was suggested. Manuscript profile

This study aimed to evaluate the effects of additive garlic essence and astaxanthin in macrostructural and nanostructural forms in rainbow trouts’ feed on preservative and sensory properties of meat and biometric measures. Garlic essential oil was produced by Clevenger apparatus and nanostructural forms were prepared by emulsifier and by mixing organic and aqueous phases. Seven hundred fish were equally and randomly divided into seven groups in separate pools with a control group. Six treatments were considered as follows: macrostructural garlic essence (T1), macrostructural astaxanthin (T2), nanostructural garlic essence (T3), nanostructural astaxanthin (T4), garlic essence with astaxanthin in macrostructural (T5) and nanostructural (T6) forms in diet. After 40 days, meat samples were evaluated for antioxidant and sensory properties. Biometric measurements were performed during the farming. Results showed a notable reduction of peroxide and thiobarbituric acid values and positive effects on the smell, flavor, and color of the treated groups’ meat compared to the control group (p<0.05). The meat texture was adversely affected in T1 (p<0.05); However, other treatments showed no effects on meat texture (p>0.05). The mortality rate was lower in the treated groups and the lowest FCRs (Feed Conversion Ratio) were observed in T3 and T4 groups. In general, it was discovered that garlic essence and astaxanthin in the diets improved antioxidant and sensory properties of meat and the biometric properties of rainbow trouts. Manuscript profile

Nutritional needs are important in successful breeding process of the fishes. Aloe vera gel having beneficial compounds such as the eight essential amino acids, monosaccharides and polysaccharides, vitamins C, B12, B6, B2, B1, A, E and minerals, can be used as a valuable supplement and food rations used in natural aquatic environment. Effect of prescription of this crude extract of plant Aloe vera in Oscar (Astronotus ocellatus) with an average weight of 17.57 ±2.56  g were studied in this research. Therefore, 54 fish in three treatments, each with 3 repeats were used in this research. Two treatments included a concentration of 2 and 5% crude extract of Aloe vera plant which were added to the Biomar feed size of 0.8 mm used for Carnivore fishes. Samples were fed for 60 days with the fortified feed. The control sample feed were not fortified. The results indicated that feed fortification with plant extracts of Aloe vera makes a significant difference (p<0.05) in weight gain, growth factor and coefficient of obesity and reduced food conversion factor compared with controls, and increase in fortification showed an increased effect. No mortality was observed in both treatments. Fortified feed at 5% showed a better result as a whole. Manuscript profile

This study was done to determine the effects of stocking density on growth factors of salmo trutta caspius. For this purpose , fingerlings with initial weight 7.25 + 0.4 g were distributed in 3 treatments with density of 50, 75 and 100 fish per each m3 and cultured for 60 days. The growth factors (BWI, LI, SGR, CF, and FCR) and survival rate were measured. The results showed that with density increase some of the growth factors which contain BWI, LI and SGR were decreased but some others (CF, FCR) were increased ( p<0.05). Also the density of stocking had no effect on survival rates of treatments (p>0.05). In Conclusion, by study on growth factors and survival rate, the best results were observed in lower density (50 fish per each m3).  Manuscript profile

A total of 300 day-old chicks in a completely randomized design using a factorial arrangement with 4 treatments were used to study the effects of different levels of nutrients and Virginiamycin on the body weight and feed conversion of broilers. Test diets were formulated to provide 100 or 110 percent of protein recommended by NRC and was fed either with or without 25 ppm of Virginiamycin to 3 pens of 25 chicks. Weekly body weight and feed conversion were measured and at the end of the trial, two chicks of each pen were selected, killed and dressing percentage and feed conversion were determined. Data from this experiment showed that the 6 weeks age birds, which received Virginiamycin, at two diets, were significantly (p < 0.01) heavier. Addition of 25ppm Virginiamycin also improved (p < 0.01) body weight in diet of NRC + 110% CP. Addition of 25 ppm Virginiamycin significantly (p < 0.01) improved feed conversion rate at the diet of NRC + 110% CP. Manuscript profile
