  The present study is conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between the usage of what's App and Telegram social networks and life style of social science students in science and research branch. Research method is practical and of survey-descriptive kind. Research population includes all the social science students in Tehran Islamic Azad University of Research and Science branch who are 960 students. Using general formula of Cochran 274 students were chosen as sample through simple random sampling method. Measuring tools are standard questionnaire of life style (LSQ) with 70 questions and a researcher-made questionnaire of social networks whit 20 questions which are prepared based on Likert scale. Questionnaires’ content validity is approved by experts and instructors, and their reliability is achieved by Chronbach's alpha coefficient 0.87 and 0.81 respectively. The results showed that, there is a significant reverse relationship between usage of What's App and Telegram social networks and life style. In other words, with the increase of usage of What's App and Telegram social networks the quality of all aspects of social science students' life style in Tehran Islamic Azad University Research and Science branch decrease Manuscript profile
